I believe the increase in all their rates will be next Monday, 4 April; see savers friend.
My minimum regular saver is now 1.7%. This is based upon the 2 year fixed ISA interest rate.
My easy access is with Skipton ISA at 1.1%.
This rate rise to 1.3% is on the border for retention as accessible savings. Long time saver with Ecology.
  • Ditched my Ecology to put my funds into Virgin's 1%, as DD no longer relevant for Barclays account now abandoned Rewards feature.

Those funds now going in to Chase at 1.5%

For those needing a DD for current account criteria, 1.3% with Ecology would be a good move.

I'm hanging on moving anything to a fixed rate for now, but have just downloaded the Chase App myself.

Need a bit of help as I'm not too well versed in the newer technologies. I've downloaded the app quite successfully until the photo of driving licence stage. Apparently en route to that point I said no to camera permission. I was directed to Settings to change it. Said yes to 'allow Chase to access camera' and expected NEXT. But nothing. On the same page Siri & Search and Notifications are OFF and Mobile Data and Allow Tracking are ON.

    Hello,

Got a 1 year fixed saver at a pitiful rate, due to mature on 01/04 (£85K)

I’ve also just opened the new Chase Saver & put £30K in there already…

I prefer interest to be paid monthly so looking at the Shawbrook 1 year fixed at 1.65% to deposit the full maturing £85K

My question is, should I just put it into the Chase Saver instead, as fixed rates might rise again shortly?

I appreciate I would then go over the £85K protection for a short while, until fixed rates perhaps reach near 2%

    Any advice appreciated.

    Cheers

This is the Regular Savings thread. You should copy it, delete it and repost it - prob best as as a new thread.
FWIW I wouldn't go over £85K and I wouldn't fix in the current climate.

The regular saver will be increasing interest to 1.3% variable from the present 0.8%. The easy access ISA will also become more interesting.
Thanks - the Ecology sent out an email to me saying the rate was changing - but didn't say to what! They don't have that many products so could have say included a link or a table.
