I must have missed this when I opened - when does the new Virgin expire?

Can you clarify what you mean by the new Virgin expiring?   

When the term finishes. I presumed 1 year from opening but looking at the previous issues it seems they are all 20th of a month.

 HBC5 matures on 20/6/22 and HBC6 on 20/8/22. HTH

It tells you in SS2’s post, August 2022. Precise date in the details at the start of the thread.

Not dull for me: I won £100 in this month's draw.  I didn't even realise there was a draw on this account .

Hi all, I have a Nat West regular saver account, which states if your account goes over £1000 the interest drops from 3% to very low 0.01%. However if I reach £1000 and just leave that amount in there do I receive 3% every month? I have looked at there t&c and can’t make head or tail of it. Any help would be most appreciated.

As I read it, you will receive 3% on your £1000, and just 0.01% on any balance over £1000.

So it looks like I should receive £2.50.a month, which I can transfer to my current account.

It's there in FAQ no.2 on the link below.

Do I have to keep my standing order once I reach £1000 to still benefit from the interest rate?

No, but it helps keep you in the savings habit. You will still receive the higher interest rate on your balance up to £1000.
