Just got my Chorley maturity letter.
invitation to open another Members Regular saver paying 1.05% enclosed.
To be eligible, you must be an existing member who has held a maturing Members Regular Saver account Fixed Term 01/07/2020 - 30/06/2021
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Max monthly deposit £250 pm.
Fixed term 01/07/2021 to 30/06/2022
Doesn't say what the minimum monthly deposit is but I will probably open with £50 pm and hope for a better paying account next year.3 -

In affect its the same account (number and sort code) so we can just continue payments.
One of a few where waiting for maturity instructions is advantageous rather stopping s.o's.
Edit - also see that I have the minimum amount as £1 on the previous incarnation.
(£1 - £250 range).
Suspect this will be similar

Is Hargreaves Lansdown better than Fisher Investments for investing quite a large sum,and willing to leave it for a number of years.?0

I'm becoming optimistic about slightly higher interest rates before long due to inflation etc. So I'm choosy about opening new accounts with conditions like this one - variable interest rate, no withdrawals till maturity, no early closure - and an interest rate around 1%.
I've always maxed monthly deposits into regular savers and having nominal amounts awaiting better times here and there doesn't appeal to my sense of tidiness.
I do have a few RSs paying 1% but the interest rate is fixed and withdrawals are allowed, so in an emergency I have ready access.1 -

Just called them.
They confirmed minimum monthly payment is £1 and you don't need to send in your passbook with your maturity form.
Going to continue with £10 per month so I qualify for next years Members regular saver.

I'll feedback here the reply and would appreciate anyone else doing so too please
I received my Maturity letter for my Triodos Fixed Regular Saver about 1 month before maturity date. I logged on and sent a secure message asking for my balance plus interest to be sent automatically on my maturity date to my nominated account. They replied within minutes in the affirmative requesting me to confirm sort code, account number and name on the account. I appreciate their customer service!

I hate those banks which tease you at the end of a Regular saver term, My 2% Halifax Regular Saver has had the interest added overnight, dated yesterday 14 June, but I can't move the principal plus interest (£3250 + £34.62) until Halifax move the money into the maturity easy access account set up by them when the RS was opened. This might happen tomorrow or the day after. The Halifax RS doesn't allow "early" closure so I'm sitting with an account to which the interest has been added but which I can't yet access. Why can't they design things so that it all happens at the same time???0

I don't know if this still applies, but at one time the cash could be accessed over the telephone on the due day.1
