Is anyone having RS with Stafford Railway BS? It looks like a really good option. I asked them about society year and it starts on the 1st November and ends 31st October3 -

Good customer service; they sent out a SAE "for the next time" after I made a withdrawal, despite them stating you run it by post 'at your own cost'. And nice staff. 4 withdrawals a year and a deposit limit of £500 per month make it a good account imo.
@Special_Saver2:
There are 4 withdrawals p/a permitted, not 3 as per your info on p1
And as @finance4all says, they Society year-end is 31 October.1 -

Hi Folks,
Here is this weekend's update to this thread.
- Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Lloyds regular savers that were all paying 1% now paying 0.75% for accounts opened now so I have removed them from the first page of this thread as they no longer meet the criteria for inclusion in this thread
- Lloyds Club Lloyds Monthly Saver (which is the one that requires you have a Club Lloyds current account) interest rate dropped from 1.5% to 1% for accounts opened now; this account still meets the criteria for inclusion in this thread so I have updated the entry in post 6 accordingly
In my last post last weekend, I had written that the Virgin Money Home Buying Coach Regular Saver issue 4 was replaced with issue 5. This was incorrect - issue 3 was replaced with issue 4. I had correctly updated from issue 3 to issue 4 on the first page of this thread last weekend but got the numbering wrong on my post where I summarised the updated changes. Apologies for that.
Many thanks to all the people who continue to make useful contributions to this thread.
I will do the next update next weekend.

For those new to this thread, the first few posts are constantly updated and are on the first page

I am sorry to bring this up again as I know it is annoying to many readers, but is anyone else with more than one Coventry BS Regular Saver still not received the letter about closing accounts? I haven't received mine yet and am wondering if I should stop paying into the accounts but I don't know which one(s) will be left unaffected.0

I haven't received anything but then again I didn't apply issue 5.
Carry on what you doing until you get something

Bottom line is you haven't had any notification (and may never get any) so keep paying in to them and make the most of what you can whilst you can.
Also don't think opening issue 5 has any bearing on getting notification.7
