My experience is pretty much exactly that of cricidmuslibale's and I could not articulate it any better. Thank you so much for all of your work and efforts, which made this thread always my first port of call when I log in to the forum.

Enjoy the time with your baby daughter and cherish every moment. As I type this, I am waiting for my now adult daughter to arrive to celebrate her birthday. I can recall her being born as if it were yesterday. I always thought it a cliche when people tole me to make the most of every day with her - I now know it to be wise advice and no cliche at all.

Again, many thanks. Hopefully, you'll pop in from time to time.

I've been visiting my elderly mother in hospital over Christmas and this thread has provided some normality and welcomed humour.

The quality of the information, and the good humour shown in every post has made the threads not only super effective as a resource on regular savers, but a joy to read

Had an email from West Brom BS saying my new Regular saver was now open and included deposit details, however when i go to make a faster payment transfer from my Halifax current acc  it says account not recognised?

It can take 24 hours for the Confirmation of Payee service to recognise a new account. 

Out of interest when did you apply?  I am also waiting for a new account to be opened by them.

I was on the phone to WB just as you posted. I applied on 23 December. The very helpful agent told me that my application was due to be completed and account opened today.

Think I may add monies to my saver account with them ready to transfer across when it's all done, I hope that it works.
