Gatehouse RS Maturity
I've made a stupid mistake. Rushed in and closed the account using the app. Money to be transferred tomorrow to my nominated account. I don't think I can reverse the closure instruction. Lesson learned, don't act in haste.0 -
Completely agree!allegro120 said:
States 5.00% Gross p.a. / AER. Not clear what it is, it won't matter for RS, but will make a difference for EA. In any case in current environment 5% is a great EA rate.GetRichOrDieSaving said:
Mines states 5% AER in app.allegro120 said:
I didn't expect this, I thought they will either morph the account into EA at 4.51% (4.6%AER) or transfer the money into my existing EA. 5% EPR is 5.12% AER, but it is still showing as Regular Saver. If it shows as EA at this rate tomorrow I won't be withdrawing.gt94sss2 said:Gatehouse have added the interest/profit due to those who opened their RS accounts on 29/11/23.
Not 100% sure what rate is applicable to the easy access accounts. I would be pleasantly surprised if it is 5% as the account suggests in online banking/their app..

Is this 5% EA only available if its morphed from a mature RS account please?0 -
I only opened the issue 1 today can l apply for this new one when available?Bridlington1 said:Principality BS to launch a 6 Month Regular Saver Issue 2 over the coming days.
No further details are known yet but the application link to the account has appeared on their website which implies Issue 1 at 8% shall be replaced within the next week or so.0 -
Bob2000 ... Another excellent question .... unfortunately I can't answer it as although the account now shows 5% (instead of 7% the RS had), it still says it's a regular saver with no means to transfer money out (online)!Compiler of the RS League Table.

Is this 5% EA only available if its morphed from a mature RS account please?I think that is the case. They seem to be morphing the regular saver into an easy access @ 5%.Account number is same as regular saver was apart from first 3 letters are now supposed to be ERG instead of REG, thats what i can make out from their message earlier. Unless they have made a mistake in the message and the ERG is supposed to read REG, wouldnt be surprised at that either.1 -
It looks like it is some form of maturity offer, we'll se what it shows tomorrow. If it shows as EA at 5% then it will be exclusive to matured RS accounts.Bob2000 said:Re: GATEHOUE
