Is this 5% EA only available  if its morphed  from a mature  RS account  please?
It looks like it is some form of maturity offer, we'll se what it shows tomorrow.  If it shows as EA at 5% then it will be exclusive to matured RS accounts.

What does other peoples letters from Gatehouse (online banking inbox) say.
The easy access account number begins with ERG?

I think that is the case.
They seem to be morphing the regular saver into an easy access @ 5%.

Account number is same as regular saver was apart from first 3 letters are now supposed to be ERG instead of REG, thats what i can make out from their message earlier. Unless they have made a mistake in the message and the ERG is supposed to read REG, wouldnt be surprised at that either.

I thought  l wouldn't  be able to just walk in a grab a piece of 5% cake!:)

Bob2000 ... Another excellent question .... unfortunately I can't answer it as although the account now shows 5% (instead of 7% the RS had), it still says it's a regular saver with no means to transfer money out (online)!
      I try  my best. B)

My letter says ERG .... my account is still showing REG but at 5%

Edit ..... it also says you can add to the account ..... at the moment I wouldn't dare try as it still says REG. Maybe  I could either withdraw or add tomorrow depending on which way the wind is blowing  :)

I didn't get any letters, just emails saying that my account is due to mature, no details.

Yes, it's best to play by the ear :)

I got a "Account has matured" email saying there is an online secure message. Once logged in, the secure message contained an attached letter. It's all a bit haphazard (at least they are consistent!) with the letter saying ERG but the account still showing REG. I hope it will sort itself out tomorrow.
