What does other peoples letters from Gatehouse (online banking inbox) say.
The easy access account number begins with ERG?
I have an easy access account with them and it begins with EAA not ERG.
  • Has anyone moved funds out of now matured Gatehouse RS, not able to as shows as no account selected to move money from having used move money tab.

The app allows you to withdraw it, but online banking doesn’t.
  • Gatehouse RS

In response to previous posts in this thread, my maturity letter states ERG and the 5% rate also.

I have Transfer and Pay In options in the app.

Was going to empty my account, however, as its destination was 4.85% (Cahoot), I shall hold fire atm as this capital was not ringfenced for this month's RS accounts elsewhere, but for Jan/Feb 2025 deposits.

I've had the Gatehouse letter with a new ERG account, number is the same. My account is still showing as an RS, perhaps it'll change later in the day.

received an email from Monmouthshire BS advising that they are reducing the rate on the below from 13th December.

EXCLUSIVE REGULAR SAVER - ISSUE 2

    Old Rate (%) 6.00  New Rate (%)  5.65

Very surprised at this from them - the rate being so much lower than the Issue 1 rate seemed to have had several reductions priced in already. With inflation now going the wrong way and another energy price cap rise and Ofcom’s new pounds and pence rises to fuel it further, I can’t see another cut for a while.

If I had more than the minimum in it, I would probably close it.

Also, a full 1% cut to 2.25% on their already low-ish by market standards EA (but that stays with just over £1 in for membership purposes.)
