Took 2 attempts - opened and funded just after 1pm - account showing with the deposit when I checked at 3pmForumUser7 said:Principality BS CHRISTMAS RS
Anyone else having issues logging in to open this? Keep getting sorry something has gone wrong.0 -
Nope. I expected to get one earlier in the year when I had secure messaged them to update my details, as obviously I needed them to have carried out the update before I could then apply fir a new account. Due to the lack of notification, I only found the message either later that day or the next day, when they had processed the request very quickly.
I didn't even get a secure message when I accidentally overfunded one of my Principality accounts, just the letter by post.0 -

Just opened this. No trouble on Princiality website but problems setting up a new payment fro my Santander account. I had to ring them and after ages on hold, they put the initial payment through manually.0

Just when I thought I had maxed out on RS’s, along comes Principality again
- Opened, funded and thanks to OP. 4 -
The maximum balance is £1500, so no 13th payment if you deposit full allowance every month.castle96 said:

If it hadn't already done so before, in my opinion Principality Building Society has now, with this its latest (early-released) Christmas Regular Saver, confirmed beyond all reasonable doubt that it is the no. 1 most reliable bank / building society for regularly providing Regular Savers with attractive (and usually fixed) interest rates!
ETA: In previous years Principality has usually released its Christmas (or Winter) regular savers in early November so today's launch has been a very pleasant surprise, to me at least.9 -
To save the application link - https://online.principality.co.uk/Originations/LaunchPage.aspx?ProductCode=6081&ProductType=RegularSaver&CIJ=true#!where_are_we said:New Principality Xmas 25 RS @7% £125/month - no 13 payments because £1500 maximum in account. Fix is good but no withdrawals, however you can close the RS and get interest applicable up to that date. Also you do not have to make monthly payments. I may go over my personal savings allowance for 25-26 but 7% is equivalent to 5.6% fixed so still a good rate for a 20% tax payer who has to pay tax on the interest.I probably shouldn`t praise Principality for not making it mandatory to open information in another window but it makes the process quicker. If you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.

Also whilst I remember Newcastle BS have been known to pull savings accounts very soon after launch. Their base rate tracker from a year or two back was gone within 24 hours of being launched IIRC.Bridlington1 said:Newcastle BS Newcastle Regular Saver (Issue 1) has been launched at 5.5% (var)
