Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

If anyone from these building societies are reading this I would like to thank Melton BS, Darlington BS, Leeds BS and Coventry BS in particular for making their summary box links so easy to guess and not bothering to take them offline and Beehive, YBS for not removing them from their website until long after they go NLA so I could copy part of the wayback machine link to recover them.

The wayback machine has now gone live again, thus the Archived List of Regular Savers should now be restored. I've checked a few of the links and the site seems to be running much slower than usual but it gets there in the end.

I'll download/save copies of the remaining regular saver Ts&Cs over the next few days. The same will also apply to the Archived List of Switching Offers thread.

There are some regular saver Ts&Cs that aren't currently visible on the wayback machine and thus for now remain ``lost". These are the ones which are files that have been uploaded to the wayback machine rather than archived websites and consist of:

• Suffolk BS 2 Year Regular Saver (29.02.2024)
• Tipton & Coseley BS Regular Saver to 31 July 2024 (app)

• Tipton & Coseley BS Regular Saver to 31 October 2024 (app)

If anyone has copies of these Ts&Cs to hand I would appreciate it if you could upload them to a OneDrive and send me a link to them or send me screenshots of them so that I can add them to the OneDrive

Monmouthshire BS Coronation Regular Saver Ts&Cs have now been recovered, these will be uploaded to the OneDrive by the end of the day. Thanks @flaneurs_lobster and @10_66 for this.

I adored that wonderful little cat. I can't remember a time before having her, we grew up together. She was such a character and was very affectionate, especially near the end. Her passing has certainly been among the biggest blows I've ever suffered and I miss her deeply.

I’m getting near the £5,000 limit on my NatWest Regular Saver. Does anything happen to the account if you stop making payments? Or should I just reduce the direct debit to £1

You don't have to pay in. When you reach £5k limit you can just withdraw monthly interest.  I've done that in the past when the limit was £1k and doing it now with £5k.

No, you can stop your payments into the account. Probably worthwhile skimming off the interest each month and keeping it at 5k, since that's the max amount that'll attract the higher interest rate.

Mine has been at £5k since March. I just withdraw the interest when it is paid on the 2nd working day of the month.

Yes I m almost at 5k with natwest, no further contributions needed.  Good tip re interest skim off into feeder account.

I've tried everything but no joy. The link isn't there - for me anyway. I'll try again in a day or so. There's plenty of time. 

Have you updated the Tipton App? There were a few issues a couple of weeks ago and they did an update with a fresh APP download.

I don't even get the opportunity to view the products... If I select any of the options shown below, it asks me to confirm that I am happy to proceed, which is nuts as I have no idea what the rates are!

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. It's an awful thing when a beloved pet takes a turn like this after the sunset years. I myself had to go through something similar with my dog a few years back. It's incredibly painful, I know, but hopefully knowing that you took the most humane decision to ease her suffering brings some kind of solace.
