I think the aim is to encourage the existing mortgage customers to stay.dcs34 said:Coventry Loyalty Mortgage Saver
A "nice" way to reward existing mortgage holders - perhaps Nationwide could take note for next years fairer share rewards...
Although I'm not sure it's quite enough to encourage someone to take out a mortgage with Coventry, just to get this account!So do I. Other than the Rainy Day Regular Saver (NLA) the rest of the savings rates are a little on the anemic side.Looks like The Mortgage Saver is replacing the Loyalty Regular Saver, for now anyway............Shame, as their Standard Regular Saver @ 4.75% is non-competative :/in the RS market.~ NSD 2025 - NSD November 6/15 (11 x💯)# Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel - On Rest - 2 x £25 Vouchers Redeemed, 29 FREE Books of RM Stamps & 2 x Presentation Pack.~ Totally FREE Christmas 2025 - 🎁✉️🏷🎀💐🪪🗒🧺⭐️Completed Challenges 2025:# No.36 Make £2025 in 2025 £1698.68 / £2025 (4) 💯💯💯# No.12 Save £2 a Day 2025 £730/ £730 💯# No.27 Save 1p A Day 2025 £667.95 / £667.95 💯# No.19 52 Week Env Challenge £1378 / £1378 💯# No.34 Save £12k in 2025 £21,877.08 / £12,000 💯 (8) - Continuing0 -
Got a very quick reply to a secure message - I opened the account by post (for some reason!) so it's a cheque for me.Dizzycap said:
Have you updated the Tipton App? There were a few issues a couple of weeks ago and they did an update with a fresh APP download.schiff said:"If you want your money to go back to your nominated account then select that option on your homepage in the App. There should be a link along the bottom of the Regular Saver box. Once you've confirmed, it should say: Thank you for selecting your maturity option, and the link will disappear."
I've tried everything but no joy. The link isn't there - for me anyway. I'll try again in a day or so. There's plenty of time. This is the rollover option I have in the most recent Tipton App - Under products:
When I click View I get this Fixed Rate Bond @ 4.05% for my maturing Regular Saver:
It seems we're all getting different offers?

My Tipton app is very buggy. It's still showing three closed accounts from July / Aug time. I've phoned them twice to highlight it, tell me it's a known bug and thank you very much.I'm directing my maturing funds to my nominated account.0

Yes, if you've agreed to have an appointment with one of their FAs, then they can offer you the account. Perhaps you'd be able to open the account without having such an appointment in place, but should expect a call to set one up.pokemaster said:
To me that reads as “if”SonOfPearl said:
The T&C for the Skipton FA Bonus Saver states that you need to "have agreed to have an appointment with one of our financial advisers". That's a big no from me then. It's not worth the hassle for a 5.2% variable rate for six months when I currently have several accounts still paying 5%+ anyway.simonsmithsays said:
Even better is that Skipton are also offering a FA Bonus Saver which is easy access and pays up to 5.2% for six months variable (3.8% after that).gt94sss2 said:
Skipton's default rollover option for this account is a 3.8% "matured saver" instant access account
As one of the account holders who haven't closed this early (and then opened up the 7% RS) I see that upon logging into the app I see the following
Your account is due to mature on 31 May 2024.
We'll let you know about your maturity options around two weeks before your account maturity date'
They are also offering a 4.5% one year bond or you can switch to any of their other products available on the 1st June.
The maturity email doesn't list the app as a method of providing maturity instructions, but you can do so online, via email, post, webchat etc
If you want to open a new RS, you need to open a new account from 1st June
You'll see this option when you login online to complete your instructions and click on Full savings range available online
Just fyi and off thread and NLA so I won't labour the point
The call never did happen and the six months is almost up.

The wayback machine has now gone live again, thus the Archived List of Regular Savers should now be restored. I've checked a few of the links and the site seems to be running much slower than usual but it gets there in the end.Bridlington1 said:
At present the wayback machine remains unavailable, though there is talk of it being made available in a read-only form. The Archived List of Regular Savers has thus been out of action for the last few days.simonsmithsays said:Back to the Regular Saver chat folks?
I have managed to retrieve the Ts&Cs for over 100 of the regular savers, most of which are currently available regular savers, others could be obtained via link guessing. These have now been downloaded and added to a OneDrive.
These are now available via the link below:
https://1drv.ms/f/s!Arb_6QPnaModcct5ENN5ddMOhkk?e=3U9IMY
I plan to archive all Ts&Cs to this link going forwards to act as a failsafe option should the wayback machine ever become unavailable for extended periods in the future. Apologies for not thinking to do this before the wayback machine went offline in the first place.
Many remain missing however so the list far from complete.
If anyone from these building societies are reading this I would like to thank Melton BS, Darlington BS, Leeds BS and Coventry BS in particular for making their summary box links so easy to guess and not bothering to take them offline and Beehive, YBS for not removing them from their website until long after they go NLA so I could copy part of the wayback machine link to recover them.
I'll download/save copies of the remaining regular saver Ts&Cs over the next few days. The same will also apply to the Archived List of Switching Offers thread.I've just uploaded another batch of regular saver Ts&Cs to the one drive. These are mostly the ones I couldn't recover when the wayback machine was down and are ones I consider to be the more important ones (competitive rates that people will likely still hold) and include among others the HEBS Online RS (5.5%), Saffron BS Members Month RS (8%), Virgin Exclusive RS (10%) etc.
Apologies for this taking longer than expected, sadly my cat's health took a turn for the worse not long after I made that post and she had to be put down yesterday at the age of 19 to prevent her suffering a prolonged and painful death.
I'd had that cat since 2006 when I was only 3 years old and wanted to ensure she spent her final hours feeling as happy as she could be and knowing how much she was and shall always be adored. As I'm sure you'll appreciate, I haven't been focusing on savings accounts much over the last few days as a result.
I should have the remaining archived regular saver Ts&Cs uploaded by the end of the weekend and shall start backing up the Archived List of Switching Offer Ts&Cs thread once I've completed that.
There are some regular saver Ts&Cs that aren't currently visible on the wayback machine and thus for now remain ``lost". These are the ones which are files that have been uploaded to the wayback machine rather than archived websites and consist of:- Dudley BS One Year Regular Saver Online Issue 3
- Monmouthshire BS Coronation Regular Saver
- Suffolk BS 2 Year Regular Saver (29.02.2024)
- Tipton & Coseley BS Regular Saver to 31 July 2024 (app)
- Tipton & Coseley BS Regular Saver to 31 July 2024 (branch+post)
- Tipton & Coseley BS Regular Saver to 31 October 2024 (app)
If anyone has copies of these Ts&Cs to hand I would appreciate it if you could upload them to a OneDrive and send me a link to them or send me screenshots of them so that I can add them to the OneDrive.43 -
So sorry for your loss @Bridlington1.24

Nationwide and Gatehouse regular savers maturing in November, does anyone know if these both accept 13th payments?
0 -
So sorry to hear your sad news Bridlington, you must have loved that cat so much. I thank every day my dear old cat of around 18 is still able to face the world each morning with a smile on his face.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.13 -
Nationwide definitely does. Gatehouse not 100% certain, but my plan was to send a 13th payment to it, as it doesn't state they're not allowed or that it has a max balance.Aidanmc said:Nationwide and Gatehouse regular savers maturing in November, does anyone know if these both accept 13th payments?1 -
