I have a Cov BS loyalty regular saver maturing next month, I haven't managed the full amount every month but Ihave always put some away.
Just spoke to customer services (I'm pretty ill so can't go out and the online service was doing a computer says no on me) and they say I can make one further payment as of the 28th Oct.
Just in case for any reason this is wrong (no reason it should be but me being cynical I thought I'd ask here) would the payment simply get returned to me?0 -

I have managed to retrieve the Ts&Cs for over 100 of the regular savers, most of which are currently available regular savers, others could be obtained via link guessing. These have now been downloaded and added to a OneDrive.
These are now available via the link below:
https://1drv.ms/f/s!Arb_6QPnaModcct5ENN5ddMOhkk?e=3U9IMY
I plan to archive all Ts&Cs to this link going forwards to act as a failsafe option should the wayback machine ever become unavailable for extended periods in the future. Apologies for not thinking to do this before the wayback machine went offline in the first place.
Many remain missing however so the list far from complete.
If anyone from these building societies are reading this I would like to thank Melton BS, Darlington BS, Leeds BS and Coventry BS in particular for making their summary box links so easy to guess and not bothering to take them offline and Beehive, YBS for not removing them from their website until long after they go NLA so I could copy part of the wayback machine link to recover them.
I'll download/save copies of the remaining regular saver Ts&Cs over the next few days. The same will also apply to the Archived List of Switching Offers thread.21 -

Maturity pack arrived by post today. Closing the account means a cheque! No alternative offered.
If you don't send instructions in the franked envelope provided the proceeds go into a 3.60% EA (limited) account. Not very interesting. Presumably withdrawals also by cheque.
So - a reminder please of which banks would take a cheque deposit of £3500+ by photo?

Barclays let you scan in cheques up to £5,000.2

There is another alternative which perhaps I should have mentioned. Some or all of the maturity funds into an account entitled Fixed Rate Bond 31/10/25 at 4.05% variable (though the summary box says fixed).
Minimum balance £1000 and more funds can be added within a window to 14 November (branch or post)
And a 35 day notice account at 4.51% (4.70% on £10K+)
Again I assume withdrawals by cheque.
Once I'm out of this archaic establishment I ain't going back!

I was going to leave £1 in for membership purposes. Can I specify £1 into the default and withdraw the remainder, or easily get the rest out if I let it default? Worried about doing anything with the options in the app given they’ve been there for weeks with no information to accompany them. Not too disappointed with a cheque, as my nominated account is the only current account I actively use that doesn’t have a minimum pay in requirement - so it makes sense for the proceeds to go somewhere else.0
