Regular Savings Accounts: The Best Currently Available List!

I haven’t had mine at £5K, but might be close by now had I not withdrawn it and prioritised other accounts over the last year or so. I left less than £1 in it at one point, now on ~£550. I do some round ups, e.g. buy Amazon gift cards with another card to collect the cashback/withdraw cashback as gift cards, then pay the odd pence with NatWest; secure savings account with it, tidy up odd pence from the end of my credit card bill on occasion.
I don’t have the RBS version but don’t feel the need until my NatWest one is full, given the availability of other accounts at the same rate. I held off on opening the NatWest one until 2022 when the right switcher offer came along.0 -

- Round ups on debit card (i.e. 'pay' 1p to get £1.98 added to the account)
- MyRewards payouts (when you select the Digital Regular Saver to payout to).
The above don't count towards the £150/month deposit cap. Otherwise it's 30-33 monthly deposits.1 -

I take comfort in the fact that my cat was able to spend her last day laid in a sunbeam which she always loved to do and was never alone on her last night. So sorry for your loss Bridlington1 - that paints a lovely picture of her lying in a sunbeam and hopefully will be how you'll remember her.And thanks for all the work you do on this forum
Lying in a sunbeam is just one of the many ways I'll remember her, she was only little but she had a such big personality and very much made a house a home. She used to snuggle up to me when I was studying during my Uni years and having samples of whatever I ate, purring away.
She was also very energetic in her younger years, some of my earliest memories are of me playing with a piece of string and this slightly nutty little cat diving round the room after it.
Trying to get her in on a summer's night was eventful at one point as she got into the habit of only coming in if she thought nobody could see her so I'd have to go round the front of the house, call her name and wait till I saw her sneaking in out the corner of my eye before rushing to shut the back door behind her.Special_Saver2 said:Hi Folks,
I have just updated the first page of this thread.
- I have edited post 1 (the introduction post) to remove some out of date information and links
- Coventry BS Loyalty Mortgage Saver added paying 6% gross p.a. variable on up to £1,000 per month for 12 months (13 payments allowed) for customers who hold an eligible mortgage account with Coventry Building Society, Godiva Mortgages Limited or ITL Mortgages Limited; there will be a charge equal to 30 calendar days' interest on the amount withdrawn on each occasion before account maturity and notice of withdrawal/closure cannot be given to avoid paying this charge.
- Aldermore Regular Saver Account (Issue 1) added paying 5.25% gross p.a. variable on up to £300 per month for 12 months, 13 payments allowed
- Penrith BS Regular Saver 200 entry updated to show this can now only be opened in branch
On a personal note, I would also like to pass on my condolences to Bridlington1 and my thanks for useful posts.
I will do the next update within the next 2 weeks.

For those new to this thread, the first few posts are regularly updated and are on the first page
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6106986/regular-savings-accounts-the-best-currently-available-list/p1
On a different note The Archived List of Regular Savers has now been fully backed up onto a OneDrive (link is on the first post of the Archived List of Regular Savers thread), with the exceptions of those few regular savers I mentioned which can not be viewed on the wayback machine at present so remain ``lost". I shall do the same with the Archived List of Switching Offers over the next week.15 -

I would say to everyone if you have the funds do both at the same time to build the interest up.
My NatWest and RBS should be maxed out in January all being well.
Would have been sooner had I not stopped paying in & not taken out the interest each month but yeah.0 -

s71hj said:Sorry, I'm late to the whole Natwest/RBS round up thing. Is there a summary anywhere of the benefits that can be gained by using it and how to do so?. My current assumption is that the main one is that the £150 a month deposit limit can be increased by deliberately choosing to use the debit card in such a way as to generate round ups so you earn the 6% on more than £150 a month and reach £5000 limit quicker.s71hj said:Also on a related thing, can you have an RBS and Natwest RS then? I thought you could only have one or the other for some reason1
