Have you made a deposit into it yet? Skipton don't show the interest rate until you make your first deposit.

Thanks for the reply, Doh I didn't think of that, I made it a deposit but it shows only 3.8% Ahh well look like MoneyBox it is for our easy access savings then. Not sure it's worth opening yet another account with Paragon MSE's top choice. difference is only .05 . Trouble is we have savings in Santander & have to transfer from there to Barclays as it's our 1 trusted account linked to MoneyBox. Shame we can't transfer direct as MoneyBox uses Santander. 

If you transferred by debit card it will show 3.8% until the money arrives.  I had to wait for 3 days until it showed 5.2%. 

OH wow that's super helpful thank you, I did deposit via Debit card, I think it is the right account type - Fa Bonus Saver 1 A. I only put in a £1 to test, we have a chunk to deposit from our Santander savings, hopefully it is 5.2%, I just didn't want to move larger amounts in until I was sure. I'll see what happens in a few days.  I presume this account is safe to use? Skipton are one of the good ones aren't they?

Yes it is safe, there's nothing wrong with Skipton BS.  One thing to bear in mind is that 5.2% rate is only for 6 months, after that is will reduce to 3.8% (variable).  At that point you will probably want to close this account and move your money elsewhere, so I would open a few more well paying EA savers that are still available for a future use.

Got my maturity email from Saffron today.

This is for my Members Month paying @ 9%

I'm guessing in app maturity section in app will follow soon.

Just spoken to Saffron regarding my regular saver and maturity, was told as of today they have a new one you can now open with the same T&C's as before, £50 per month but the interest rate is now 8%

I don't use apps but found it very simple to send a secure message a few days ago when logged on to the online account, and give instructions there. Reply came back within hours saying it will be followed.

The reply to me stated it would be available in "Members Month", and said in a "couple of weeks or so", which together I took to mean June.

Nothing seems available atm.

Yea you can always message them in app/website I don't find them that quick to action things though but they do eventually, usually within 2 or so days not hours.

The in app dedicated maturity section should open up soon following the email

Interesting because I'm sure June is Members Month & we still in May.

Nothing on website about that new account either.

I'm guessing someone told you slightly wrong information as in you can't apply for it now but also leaked future information, so the information for the new account will be £50 a month @ 8% and that should launch in June when the current 9% one ends give or take a few days
