Can I get a West Brom regular saver without living in the post code.
For eg, open an easy access then a regular saver.
Did I read about it on a post.
What a wonderful thought, not living in this region!
Except this area includes all the SY postcodes to the west Wales coast. A lovely place but takes yonks to reach with all the 20mphs

If anyone had opened a Principality regular saver recently as a new customer how long does the activation code usually take to come?  I'm on day 10 since opening.
According to my emails it was opened on the 21st and activated on the 23rd.
However, the account details were available instantly as I made the first deposit on the same 21st.

  • Thanks might have to give them a ring.

I opened a Principality 2 Year Healthy Habits Saver Bond 21,12,23.
    Plus the
REGULAR SAVER BOND ISSUE 33 in January.
    I must admit I don’t remember needing a code.
I will have to look in the filing cabinet.

I stand corrected, 6 digit online code to activate account was needed.
    Sent the 21st December.
    Arrived 2nd January.

Thanks,  I'll give it a few more days then ring if it doesn't turn up.

The T&Cs make clear that you cannot hold both Issue 2 and Issue 3.

Will be interesting to see if and when Nationwide will reduce the rate on existing Issue 2 accounts.
I don't think they will - unless we see a drop in base rates. They'll let them run to maturity.

I've got four regular savers maturing the first week of March:
    Saffron Walden 5.25%
    Lloyds Monthly 5.25%
    Bank of Scotland 5.50%
    Club Lloyds 6.25%
I feel that we're at something of a critical juncture so it will be interesting to see which way they jump, especially the Club Lloyds.

I have one every month from May.
I hope they open a new one so I can continue the money go round.
