I feel that we're at something of a critical juncture so it will be interesting to see which way they jump, especially the Club Lloyds.0 -

I feel that we're at something of a critical juncture so it will be interesting to see which way they jump, especially the Club Lloyds.Perhaps the trick works because renewing to a different type of a/c is not classed as closure of the regular saver even though the accrued interest is paid. After I renewed to an easy saver, all my transactions to the regular saver are shown on the easy saver with the same a/c number. At this point no a/c closure has happened and no regular saver was in place hence a new regular saver can be opened. This is all allowed under the t's & c's.I believe if you simply close the regular saver early then you cannot open another straight away.Renewing does not trigger the early closure consequence for the regular saver. Of course, you can immediately close the a/c the regular saver has been renewed to as this no longer has any bearing on the regular saver position.1 -
Janie2008 said:If anyone had opened a Principality regular saver recently as a new customer how long does the activation code usually take to come? I'm on day 10 since opening.
Have you put any money into the account?
I transfered £1 straight after opening, just as a test before I move larger amounts.SPC 0370 -

Looks like they have removed paying in monthly by direct debit though, can’t seem to see it on the Reg Saver page on their website0

Anyone who is an existing customer been able to reduce the DD from £25 to £10 please? Not sure whether to try, or just leave it seeing as they no longer allow new customers to use them. ThanksIf you want me to definitely see your reply, please tag me @forumuser7 Thank you.
