  • Hello, just reporting in with a 0.5lb loss, which means I STILL haven't made it to my 1.5 stone award despite hoping for it for about a month. A bit disappointing but I will chug on.

TIE hope you feel better soon, I remember that feeling of dread at the end of half term.

Have a good rest of weekend everyone!

You did well to get a loss after your birthday weekend tete.
I'm out with a shared supper tonight. It'll be a fairly SW friendly meal except for some dressings and I may have some quiche. The plus will be that I'm driving so an alcohol free Saturday!
    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), 2 fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L - ham(P), fried veg, beetroot (S), fried potato (F)
    D - mixed salad (F, P, S)
Syns - HP sauce 1, dressings?

Well done Tete.  That's really good after your birthday weekend away.

It definitely helps having an alcohol free night over the weekend Maman, doesn't it?  We're sharing a bottle of Pinot Noir tonight.  It tastes quite "thin" but is actually stronger than it feels or tastes! but it's definitely very quaffable!

But where's the extra Speed?  Supposed to be 1/3 on the plate!

Have to admit it's been a whole bottle each tonight for us as well!

  • Well done Penny! (I too am missing the clapping emoji! And the waving one).

Unless I'm out with friends which is pretty rare, I can honestly take or leave alcohol and happily sit at home on a Saturday night with a cup of tea. Sugar is absolutely my drug of choice though! :cold_sweat:

Plan for today (just got up so no breakfast):
D - Bacon and mushroom omelette
T - Making a big batch of diet cola chicken as haven't had any for a while
    HEA - Milk
HEB - Might have some toast with my omelette but might not
    Syns - Sugar (4)...

I'm also going to have a go at making some "Haribo jelly sweets" I saw on instagram - its basically a layer of SF jelly with added gelatine, then a layer on top which is a mixture of muller light, and the jelly/gelatine mixture, all chopped into squares. It's 2 syns for the full batch. I can see it being messy but we have to try these things!

What's everyone doing for pancake day on Tues? I'm thinking of the banana pancakes from the SW website. They're quite high in syns (because I imagine that recipe would in fact make one serving rather than four!) but as far as I can tell that is basically because it's cooked banana (the flour is 1 syn for the whole batch) so I won't be synning that - it's ONE BANANA !!!!!!, I'll forego my breakfast banana if I have to :unamused: Sometimes SW is a bit much!

    Penny fantastic loss
Well last night found me having one too many wines and rum in coffee - but don't think it added up to more syns than I have in reserve from week :)   I think saturday night brings a few raw memories for us.
Bubbs tart looked lovely can I ask about the dried potato you mentioned you coat scotch eggs in ( it was mentioned last year)....not sure what brand to use, and if you roll in raw egg first....last time I used brown bread crumbs ( and know the potato is a syn or 2 and from old SW times)
Pancake day and I was thinking of a sweet pancake flourless think Bubbs posted that last year but will look at the banana recipe and see if I can use something else bananas don't like me :'(
    B. toast then yog with berries and sliced apple
    L. Ham and salad slice bread
    D.  Chicken wrapped in bacon blue cheese LC light, sw roast and veg
Jelly and fruit with quark dessert
    HEB bread
    HEA milk
syn tps butter and jelly plus might have HIfi or alpen light bar

    Happy sunday

  • WI this morning - plus 2lb.
