That looks lovely bubbs.  Not sure I could eat cucumber and tomatoes for breakfast though.

DH is making hot cross buns at the moment so I can't get near the kitchen - he seems to use the whole kitchen when he's making breads and it's not even a small kitchen!  Once he's finished I'll get lunch sorted.

Strangely I couldn't here but when I'm in Turkey I have tomatoes, cucumber and feta type cheese every day and love it.

Enjoy your weekend treats tete then draw that line. You've been doing so well lately, it would make you miserable to back track.

I'm trying a Jamie Oliver inspired fish version of the KFC today as it's Good Friday. I can't see why it shouldn't work. Will post menu later.

Happy birthday GTQ.  Sorry I forgot earlier when I posted.

DH has taken over the kitchen again!  He's making a sour dough now!  Still at least it keeps him busy and enjoys doing it.  Trouble is he always wants me to taste some, much as I like it it eats into my Syns!

Just back from our walk. We managed 7 000+ steps but it was a bit of an amble as it was so hot. DH suggested a hot cross bun when we got back but I'm really not hungry so don't want to eat it just because I can. If I'm having extra syns I want to really enjoy them.

Hopefully your DH clears up after himself denise. There's something about men in the kitchen.

I portioned up the Bolognese I made last night for the freezer and kept some out for my lunch. So that's another 5 meals stored away. My freezers are pretty full.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), kippers (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- JP (F), Bolognese (P,S), beetroot (S)
D- haddock with savoury crumb (P), SW chips (F), stir fried veg (S)
Syns- kippers 1.5, weekend wine

maman - Actually DH is pretty good about clearing up when he's baking.  The only things he doesn't bother cleaning up is the crumbs when he cuts the bread or when he does toast - they seem to go everywhere!

bubbs - if it was that late then I could probably manage tomatoes and cucumber, LOL!

Just cut up the chicken and egg & breadcrumbed it ready to go into the oven shortly.  Forgot to put the herbs in but never mind I'm sure they'll still taste good.  Chips are ready to go in too.  Really looking forward to dinner tonight as not had KFC for a long time.
