That's a very unusual colour bubbs.  Whenever I've grown amaryllis I've always had red ones.  I think that variegated one is really pretty.

Today's looking to very warm again so may sit in the garden again later.

    Today's plan:

B - cheese omelette (had planned a mushroom one but ran out and haven't been shopping!) - HEA2; P
L - leek and potato soup
D - LO roast chicken; creamy leeks & mushrooms (am going shopping later!), new potatoes - P; S; 4.5 for creme fraische

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - nothing planned but may have some bread with the soup at lunchtme
Syns - 50ml half fat creme fraische (needs using up!) 4.5

Need to check how many Syns I've had this week as planning on weighing and sending weight to consultant, although if still out of target (which I don't think I am!) I'll leave it until next week, LOL!

Have a good and safe day everyone.

Thanks for cheering us up bubbs. The flower is very nice but I liked the breakfast best!!
I watched another Jamie Oliver programme last night (think it was Monday's show which I recorded). He did some salmon fillets in spicy breadcrumbs which I thought was very similar to the fake KFC recipe. I like the idea of fish in a crunchy crust and potato powder should work just as well as breadcrumbs. I might give it a try. Any sign of the curry recipe yet denise?

Anyone making special meals for the weekend? We're generally away over Easter so it'll be very unusual for us. Not fussed about chocolate but I might celebrate with a hot cross bun.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porage, HEA milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with beetroot and pickled cabbage (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,S) with new potatoes (F), cauli, kale and broccoli (S)

Sorry Maman haven't chased it up yet.  Thought I'd better leave it a few days as had forgotten it was his birthday yesterday and he and DD were celebrating (read having a good drink, LOL!).  We raised a glass or two as well - pastis for me and beer for DH!

Totted up my syns this morning and am well within for the week so I'm hoping it'll be another loss this week but I'm probably still going to be a bit heavier than I was before going on holiday but I'm OK with that.

Nothing special planned for the weekend.  Will be doing gammon - it's a big joint so plenty of leftovers.  The cooking water will probably become pea and ham soup for the freezer - will have to freeze in bags so I can squeeze them in as will also have chilli to get in there.  Think it'll be completely full then!

Only went to the farm shop today so just got fruit and veg, still need other stuff and will have to brave Mr Ts at some stage in the next couple of days!

    Denise

PS - I've messaged him but no reply yet!
