Quiet on here full stop today.  Had to weigh this morning so that data can be entered for our Zoom meeting, -1lb, so happy enough, having to work on the scales I have and deal with any corrections when we go back, but as long as I maintain a loss movement, will be consistent.

However, this is a bad weekend, Easter and my birthday tomorrow. Plan yesterday for tomorrow was to eat all before me, changed today to making scones (never made before, but really fancy some), who know what it will be tomorrow, but it is not helped by being given an Easter egg & chocolates for my birthday :o
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Well done on your pound loss GTQ. I'd have thought that losses at home will be accurate after the first week using the same scales. When's your birthday?

I bought a pack of hot cross buns today so that's going to be my Easter treat (not the whole pack though  ). Aldi was much busier than in recent weeks, not sure why really. I had thought of buying some lamb but they only had massive whole legs and DH and I would have been eating those for a week. I thought of calling into Asda but when we passed they were queuing all round the car park so chicken it'll have to be. Other than that, broccoli was the only thing I couldn't get. I bought a massive red cabbage to do more of Delia's recipe and I'm going to do more Bolognese tonight for the freezer. I'm going to try the 'KFC' fish tomorrow as it's Good Friday.

It's glorious here today. It was no hardship waiting in the sun for 10 minutes to get into the shop. I had to leave DH outside though  as they've introduced a 'one adult, one trolley' rule since last week.

    Hope you're OK denise.

Morning everyone! Happy birthday GTQ! Thanks for SOTW Chieveley, I feel it's a bit of a low bar at the moment

I have special meals planned for Sunday: bacon sandwich and a beef joint (slow cooked with potatoes and veg I think). I can't quite believe I made it through meat-free lent, in fact I sometimes wonder did I forget and eat some by accident? It's really made me realise how easy and tasty it can be to eat meat-free and I'll definitely reduce my intake in the future.

I'm still not sticking to SW however :confounded: the combination of stress and boredom for me is a killer. I'm my own worst enemy because I bring the goodies into the house... Line will be drawn after this weekend.

I noticed some spaghetti creeping back onto the shelves yesterday and managed to get some eggs too. That made the shopping trip slightly less alien. I also got some lobelia and marigolds so that'll keep me busy in the garden. The sun has disappeared this morning so I'm going to get some housework done today and hopefully it'll be nice tomorrow for gardening.

I'll pop back in the morning with WI results...

    Have a good day!
