  • Thanks for birthday wishes, went off plan, but hey, tomorrow is another day (that could be name of a film!) Been a strange day and another 3 ahead, but plant to keep busy, need to decorate my hall so will do that tomorrow, then got a load of paperwork to do also, so will do that on Monday. We are having our Arabic classes on zoom, so, as there is nothing else happening will have one on Monday as usual. Life is so much easier if there is a semblance of regular routine.

Enjoy your weekend treats tete then draw that line. You've been doing so well lately, it would make you miserable to back track.
You're absolutely right Maman. WI with a 2lb gain this morning (thanks Chieveley) which is fully earned and deserved. That leaves me on a 2lb loss for this challenge overall (I think, haven't been updating my sig properly) which is nowhere near my 8lb goal but at least it's a loss. Will we be doing a new challenge? "Losing on Lockdown" or something?

Right I'm off to put my trainers on and go for a 'virtual parkrun' while it's hopefully still quiet - it's the only time of the week I know what day it is!

Morning, weigh in with a surprising -1.5 loss this week, don't know how I've done it as still eating everything in sight. Been doing a lot of gardening though so maybe thats helping.

At least it was a loss and not a gain for the overall challenge Tete.  Draw the line and get back on plan, you know you want to.  That's a great title for the new challenge, assuming there is one!

Well done Majorca on your loss.  I'm sure the gardening helped, it good body magic!

Had to go shopping today as had run out of loads of stuff.  Hoping that will be it for a couple of weeks, we'll probably still run out of fresh fruit and veg but we've got frozen and tinned we can make use of, as well as some tinned ready meals bought in France, but they will definitely be a last resort as they are generally quite high Syns.

Today's plan (keeping Syns fairly low as need to pull some back!)

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2 syns
    L - creamy garlic mushrooms & roasted jacket potatoes - S; F; 3 syns
D - veggie biryani (using a pack of spiced veg from the last time I made a batch and froze some) - S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none planned
    Syns - sausages 2; garlic & herb soft cheese (50% fat) 3

    Afternoon all
WI with STS taking that as still not caught up with the wagon. Glad the shops are out of flour, hubby won’t stop making cakes ! Nice leg of lamb for tomorrow and whatever veg is at the bottom of the chest freezer 🤔.
Trying to convince myself it’s just Easter hols (but not going out) rather than lockdown, makes me feel better though.
    Stay safe all x x
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Morning bubbs and everyone else.  I was wondering about maman, sary & beanie too.  Hope you're all OK.

Another lovely day, no rain here so had to water the garden pots last night and again this morning before it got too warm - we don't have a garden as such, just a paved area at the back with pots.  Our front has quite a bit grass area (can't really call it a lawn it's a bit uphill & down dale LOL!).  Also a large paved driveway for the cars, motorhome & caravan.

We're still having a roast today, we're both quite happy to eat hot dinners even when it's warm!  Ended up with a few extra Syns yesterday.  DH decided to put a small rum in when I asked him to get me a ginger beer from the fridge! and then later decided to open a bottle of wine - I was very restrained though and only had one glass!  We'll have the rest of the bottle this evening!

    Today's plan:

    B - SW fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2 syns
    L - cheese salad sandwich - HEA; HEB; S
D - roasted gammon joint; roast potatoes, roasted veg (carrots, onions & peppers), green veg of some sort not sure what yet!

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; mayo (instead of butter) 1; 2 glasses of wine 10

Sorry for going AWOL. I tried to post yesterday but something wrong with the server so gave up. Didn't sleep well last night so I've just been sitting about reading today. Have stuck to plan and chicken roasting for dinner. Hopefully will have a better night tonight and normal service resumed tomorrow. 😉
