Not all private landlords will let to someone with CCJs as they are an indication that the person is unreliable with money. I guess if you want to limit your options for £60 you’re an adult but most people would consider that foolhardy.2

And renting a shed for too much money too, since the decent landlords use agencies that are strict with the credit check.452 said:

Surely a phone call to the car hire company that your insurance company used will clear up any doubts. Or even ring your insurance company.0

As the car was supplied by an insurance company and it was them that sent out the £60 invoice, could failure to pay end up with the OP's details being added onto the CUE database?

As the car was supplied by the insurance company and it is this company that sent out the £60 invoice then if it's not paid, would it be possible for the insurance company to add this non payment onto the CUE database?

More likely the insurer will withhold the £60 (plus their own admin fee no doubt) from the settlement. Then the OP can small claims them to get back the unauthorised deduction...
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
