I received the following email from Asda today, as an update on the NI launch. I thought I'd share it with you all....................

Asda was my local supermarket when I lived in Scotland - hated it (apart from the clothes)! Thought I'd escaped by moving back here!

My granny will be pleased - she was perfectly happy with her local Wellworths/Supervalu and then it became a Safeway which she also liked (lots of offers - appeals to grannys). She loathed Morrisons and now just sighs when I say it's turning into Asda. Poor pet.

I asked a neighbour who works in the Dundonald Safeways. It is closing Oct 15th for 5 weeks.

Coleraine is closing on Sept 2nd too by the way, re-opening (as stated) on Oct 10th.

Bangor store reopens on 10 October as well. That took a lot of figuring out Arkonite!!
