For the benefit of others, I have sent messages to :-

    christian.haertnagel@lidl.co.uk

    dispute.resolution@lidl.co.uk

    customer_services@lidl.co.U.K.

They have not replied but have cancelled one ticket. The other ticket is still on the ATHENA system and will rise to £90 in two days.

without reading right from the start ...... you say you have a receipt for each visit ... have you appealed to Athens with copies of said receipt?

I have not appealed to Athena yet. My thinking is that they have nothing to gain and everything to lose from cancelling the charge. Lidl on the other hand have a customer to keep happy.

Forgive me for saying it, but your 'thinking' hasn't been the best over the years, has it?

Could your thinking extend to understand that Athena's thinking, after receiving your appeal, might be along the lines of "ah... I recognise that this person is using MSE forums. Obviously too difficult for us to pursue. PCN cancelled".

The keeper of the vehicle should send the blue text template appeal easily found in the first post of the NEWBIES thread.
Send it unchanged - no additions or alterations needed - except perhaps a copy of your Lidl receipt.

@KeithP - thank you for your advice. I appealed to Athena having not had a reply from Lidl.

The parking charges are now ‘not recognised’ by the system as can be viewed on Athena-parking.com and so presumably they have been cancelled.

During these coronavirus times, it appears that Lidl do not reply to emails and nor do Athena.... But, at least one of them acts and cancels the parking charges.

I will set a timer for me to be at Lidl now. I don’t like shopping there and I hate their parking arrangement, but the shop is convenient.

I am very grateful to this board and the regulars!!!!!

    Very good news!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

For the benefit of others, Lidl have belatedly replied to me with the following by email..

and this came after Athena sent me a brown envelope letter saying they had cancelled the second of my charges..(which is thanks to @keith because he nudged me to contact the parking company direct which I had been nervous of doing).
