Hi, all I have left to do is calculate my expenses. Is there any info/advice on what I can claim for?
So you haven't read the advice by Loadsofchildren linked in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum ??
Nor have you been following other recent court case threads where they have been given the same advice as above , plus quite a few have shown us their summary costs assessment
How can anyone produce the document without proper research ? It's been done numerous times on here , I don't even have a court case but have seen all these basic questions being answered and examples posted
when I tried to search for something on expenses, nothing obvious came up
That's because it is referred to as a Summary Costs Assessment now (used to be just costs assessment).
  • Hello People,
I've now been issued a telephone hearing and told I have to liaise with the Claimants. I've looked at the advice about sending a draft order to the judge to see if I can get this struck out. Is it worth still emailing this draft order over to the courts even though I have been given a hearing date? Has anyone had success with this? Or shall I just email my bundle over to Gladstones?

Well, what does your Order actually say? Are you stating what it tells you to do or what youve seen elsehwere, because there is no single process for telephone hearings. You must do exactly what your order states
  • Thanks @Ralph-y, I've read all of that thread - but it only tells me to send the Draft Order and email to the judge if I think my hearing will go to Telephone. I've just received confirmation that i has gone to that, so wondered if I'd missed the boat sending the Draft Order or if it was still worth a go.
@nosferatu1001I understand I must do what the order instructs, I've no problem understanding that and doing this. That wasn't my question.

I wouldn't bother with that now because almost no courts are doing strike outs.

Your question was "should i just email..." and the answer is: if thats what your Order states, yes
  • @Coupon-mad this morning I have received a supplemental witness statement from Gladstones. I really need your help with this as I need to send my key documents for my telephone hearing by Thursday. Gladstones are also supposed to Liaise with me to agree on key documents. I have attached their PDF here
    TIA

Havve you reached out to them? Liaise goes both ways.
WHat do you need help with? Dumping a doc in and going "help!!!" doesnt give us much to go on, and doesnt make us particularly happy to help as it looks like you have done nothing.

Hi, Yes I sent my key documents to them yesterday asking for the same from them (i.e. to Liaise) and this morning they sent me this, with a covering email to say this has been submitted to the court. I would guess they are trying to put this in before agreeing to their key docs?
With reference to my "dumping a doc and saying help" @Coupon-mad has been very helpful with my first WS and I wanted his take on their response. That's why I have specifically asked him.
