Evening ladies, the wind is still going strong here in Cumbria, I hope it ends soon or i'll have no fence left. It doesn't look like I've done much in the kitchen but it is much more organised now, need a plate rack for the cupboard and maybe a utensil pot as i'm still leaving those in the drainer rather than putting them away.

Phew after gods knows how long I've finally figured out how to put color in the text.. Now I have hit a major snag - I can't put any more onto the first post as it says too many characters.. So tomorrow's may be a bit late if not very early on Wednesday morning.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

👋 evening! sorry I am late back to the party. Thanks Natty and Valli for listys and dealing with the trials of this forum since the change over last week. I have been flying off piste today, so I have a bit to report once Ive actually checked Fred properly. Been suffering with a migraine from hell since Sunday afternoon, so I have been flying indoors with a pair of sunglasses on and technology kept to barest minimum, and double pairs of sunglasses on when I have had to drive. Thankfully, I avoided being sick (I kept thinking stay flying in kitchen and bathroom today, tiles are easier to clean than carpet). Once I am sure it has shuffled off, then I will have a good meal.
Hugs and positive vibes for everyone dealing with storm damage atm. Sticks and spoons for everyone in need xxx. Time for me and Fred to get reacquainted!

Clean the INSIDE of the microwave... don!!!8217;t forget the ceiling!!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
15 minute fling and tidy in that junk drawer I created a new space in kitchen cupboard, up high but visible to naked eye without playing cupboard Tetris.....its "Al Fresco/Picnic Shelf" it has all the sports water bottles, Thermos hot food flasks, lidded snack/fruit pots, bento boxes, sushi trays, sturdy re-useable plastic cutlery in DD4 old school lunch box (she always has school dinners so it needs a new purpose) leftover "one use" plastic cutlery (for shame, I brought these from the old house, but refuse to throw them away without being used even once, but will not buy any more) a box with small tubs for taking ketchup/mayo etc out of the house but without dragging the whole condiments cupboard with us, and finally a box with cocktail sticks and bamboo kebab skewers. Also checked for expired medicines today, half finished bottles of Calpol etc. I have a small box to take to pharmacy tomorrow.
I am fed up with amount of washing up building from the adult skints, so in the process of donating away surplus cutlery and crockery, so I only keep one meal's worth. That way if I come back and find every single thing I own used and left out with dried food turning to concrete, its only 30 minutes clean up time rather than 3 or 4 hours. I am hoping that the first time the crockery cupboard is empty, that DD1 wull wash up after herself or at least sling in the DW.
Checked the food cupboard for expired food for the bin, and near expiry food brought to the front to be used up imminently.
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of the following:
- Make sure to keep warm when the snow arrives.
- Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
- Wash the washer drawer out if it is icky, check filters too!! did this one last week, but will count it!
- 30 minutes ironing!!! I KNOW you'll love me for that one!
Twinkly Tuesday ~ the boudoir
(seeing as I am looking at my mess!)
Level one!
Strip, wash and replace bedding.. With the window wiiiide open
Shine your magic mirrors
Level Two
Have a fling in a cupboard! Not with the butler!! What can be set free!? Took old photo albums out of chest of drawers so more space for winter jumpers, made a new sentimental photo box for non visible storage area
Clear the top of a cupboard Taken metal shoe rack which caters for 9 pairs of shoes off top of cabinet and put in hallway, as I rarely put my shoes on in the bedroom. Now have a clear work surface to either spread my makeup on, or safe place for laptop and charger
Tickle away the dust and spider homes! It is not Halloween for ages!
Level Three
Gather up stinky laundry
Wash a window
Binbag dance.. Fill it up from anywhere in the house and let it go .. To the bin, CS or anywhere !! 2 kitchen bins full of recycling, 1 kitchen bin full of rubbish for wheelie bine, 1 bag for life to CS, 3 bags of secure destruction to dump, large cardboard and swollen MDF to dump. 3 bags next size up kids clothes put away ready to check again in the summer
Tidy the towels.. Can any be donated or turned to rags? Clean the upstairs doors.. Oh to live in a bungalow!! Wash stinky pet nests!! Do something you enjoy for at least half an hour!! Eating/drinking/chasing loose women do not count!!well, I will get back on with listy tomorrow and see what else can go ....nighty night one and all x
Extras for those who are brave!
