I switch every 12 months. Usually between Sky and Plusnet, but last year I decided to give Shell Broadband a go. A bit of a mistake, but at the end of the day the actual service is on par with others, it's just customer service, or lack of it that changes.Keef - Sheerness, Kent UK2

I rang PN about the exact same thing last week. The guy offered me 1p per month off and even managed to stop himself laughing at that. Needless to say I gave notice of my cancellation.0

Just come off the phone with Plusnet retentions, offered me Fibre for £22.99 and normal broadband for £19.99 (ie same price for new customers which is fair). I mentioned the Post Office are offering standard broadband for £16 and asked if they could offer the £75 cashback on their website, but they said they CANNOT offer this for existing customers. So now considering Post Office or NowTV with poss Quidco/TopCashBack...0

In my experiance plusnet will only haggle when you have requested to port your number to another provider0
