We used to cut each others hair when Mr M_F was on short time (and did again during covid ) mine has been short for some years. I will cut and colour myself if totally necessary but I will keep the cuts for now as something to go if one of us lost a job.
Growing out hair colour is slightly tricky as it's not a natural colour 🤣 so the witches streak combined with dark roots and violet (hope that doesn't out me) hair won't be a good look lol. I shall consider options but as it's been a while since it was last dyed I will see how bad it gets 😅Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I love a facial but not had one for a very long time. I'll be getting hair cut soon as I've been saving for a cut & highlights and I'm almost there. Will have to review the rest.Credit Cards NOV 2019 £33,220.42 Sept 2023 £19,951.00 Tilly Tidy 20223/COLOR] Sept £43.71 Here's my diary: A Ditherer's Diary Again0

Years ago I tried counselling (done it a few times) but Mr M_F noticed my facials relaxed me more than any counselling session and said I should have that instead.
It's true. I have one monthly. Don't wear make up so do like to look after my skin but don't use any special creams. Just my regular facial and use a face wash daily and moisturiser if I need it.

Good morning diary readers contributers and lurkers.
Just read on @WinterWarriors diary they have snow! They can keep it thank you very much. Horrid stuff.
So much number crunching was done yesterday with the impending doom of money flying out our hands faster than we can earn it.
For now we will be ok with the changes mentioned yesterday. We will still be able to over pay debt which will help get rid whilst living a relatively frugal but still comfortable lifestyle compared to alot of poor souls.
I really feel for those who have no more wriggle room in their budgets because of debt or low to no income.
As for the big cheese at the bank if England saying people mustn't ask for big payrises well 🤬🤬🤬 I'd like to see him say that if he was on a tenth of his wage let alone what the lower paid are.
So grateful for having a two income household with teamwork agreeing on cuts and what stays. Definitely reason to be cheerfulDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I agree, it’s so easy to talk the talk when you are on ten times more than anyone else! Anyone without a pay rise equal to interest rates is getting a pay cut…and most people didn’t get a pay rise at all through covid as it was a reason for most big businesses to make an excuse 😖Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Luckily MrM has just had a payrise of about £80 a month. We usually get a small one in March but no nice things for it to be spent on at the moment with how things are. Especially as I've spent a fortune on doggo last couple of weeks.

Congratulations to Mr @Naomim on his payrise. That's not to be sniffed at.
Not much going on here. First week's budget blown but hopefully can claw it back over the month.
We have brought some seed potatoes so need to sort the raised bed to get the earlies in, that can be next weekends job. We did a big Spring clean of the bedrooms this one.

After reporting not much happening yesterday I forgot the important bits 😂
*. Sky had been given the heave ho from April (TV) broadband is under review.
*. Meal planning for next week has been done including updating online shop for fri.
*Car insurance has been paid for in full -no more monthly payments yeh!
* Hair colour has been changed to just cuts.
It's easy to forget the steps you take when debt busting when your busy with other things. Lets hope it means it's becoming second nature to cut back when needed.
I can't believe how many savings we have made when we thought there was no more to be had (groceries budget exc ). Paying annual bills in full feels great knowing they are done with and that we are putting the money aside already for next year.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓
