sleepyjones said:@grinnerlynn Are you sure that's the case?.
Can you go Skip or enter this comp : https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6100864/e-23-02-win-snatchers-on-blu-ray-rc#latest
Once you're done, I'll make a comment and we'll see if it the tick \ X goes away.
This would be a MAJOR issue, but I don't see it happening on my posts and I'm pretty sure there would 1000 posts about it by now but I haven't seen any.

OK Done.
If you can give it a check, if all looks good, maybe try logging out and logging back in again and see if it's still all ok?1 -
its stayed marked as skipped this time with your comment on it, this morning when i checked though lots were unmarked that had replies. maybe sorted itself out, ill keep an eye on it:A0

I did find the buttons a bit "clunky" yesterday when I actually got around to entering some comps, I found that sometimes it didn't click and it also wasn't that obvious if you had clicked it. I thought it was just my mouse playing up though 'cause sometimes I sit too far away from the computer with a wireless mouse so it can sometimes be a bit flakey.0

sleepy - it's not just you and it's not related to any maximum number of edits. You can't do it on the first post of a thread you have never edited. It is something that has happened since yesterday - I've put the following in Site Feedback Snagging (and reported my own post)
CAN'T EDIT FIRST POST IN A THREAD
When I click on the cog to edit the first post in a thread the box that opens is small and blank and I can't edit - see upper screenshot below. This happens from both Thread View and Forum View. I can still edit subsequent posts (replies) in a thread - see lower screenshot. I could edit OK on Friday & Saturday.
(refreshing, clearing cookies, logged out then back in etc. has no effect)4 -
Thanks One-eye. I had noticed the same thing. I typed usr instead of user and could not correct it.

Ahh ok, thanks for that.
I had been editing the same post a few times so I thought it must be a limit or something.
I can kinda understand why they might have done it, It would make sense in the real world that you wouldn't want to allow someone to post something, get 10 replies of people agreeing with you and then they edit the post to something completely different. Unfortunately, the compers forum isn't the real world1 -
Bringing this down and added a couple since I can't edit the original post anymore.
Current Issues :- We need the red X / Green Ticks back on the main listing - This is being worked on by the dev team as we speak.
- Thread title font size is too big - I was zoomed in on my browser 'cause the green site was too small, but proportionately, the title sizes are still too big
- Emoticons appear huge in search results (ie search for "Oschar" from within the last month on the Competitions Time forum)
- Need the ability to search / list threads by Date / Title (especially useful for End-Daters) - This is being worked on by the dev team as we speak.
- Thread details should show on hover on the titles in the main board.MSE are aware
- Don't know if you've entered in the Game Over board, makes it difficult to thank the correct user if you do win as it's hard to tell which competitions you did or didn't enter.
- Mark Expired button.
- No way to unclick "Entered" without changing the status to Skipped.
- Entered / Skipped should appear in Search results Also apparently being worked on
- Character Limit in posts? ... could potentially be an issue with Terms heavy comps and would be a total nightmare for something like an Advents thread / Compers Challenge post.
- Mobile layouts, but specifically showing the time/date of a post in these views.
- Edit First post, it seems you can no longer edit a topic post (ie the first post in a thread), (perhaps after a reply or a comp-liment has been given). We need to be able to edit Terms / Links / End Dates etc
- Styling of Notifications has gone a bit wonky
- Nice to be able to show more results per page.
- Show a notification if you've commented on a thread
- Can't link to a specific reply in a thread (ie #5, reply number 5)
The format for a link to a specific post in the middle of a thread is:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/76814228#Comment_76814228
Find the 8-digit comment number by hovering over the "Quote" button (bottom left of each post)
(Thanks @One-eye) - Turn off notifications for a single post (ie : Show me notifications via popup if anyone replies to any of my threads, but do not send me notifications from this one thread that is really spammy)
- Sort by popularity, (Most views?)

Thanks sleepyjones
Would you be able to add another 'nice to have' - could the comp-liment be made darker or brighter once clicked so that we can see more clearly if we have comp-limented already?6
