Why on earth is it not "last post" on top instead of having to scroll down? And to send a pm, is that now just called "message", after clicking on the person concerned?1

One I tried and couldn't get in to yesterday seems OK today.

I've just come across to mention this. I've posted a thread in postal sub-section and found I couldn't edit the original post (can edit comment attached). I've messaged a Board Guide (although their names are not now visible at the bottom of the page).
Also, when compiling the thread I could find the bold edit button but couldn't find where I could change font colour, anyone know where it is?1 -

before all the emails "came from" moneysavingexpert.com forums and I had this marked as VIP/important in my emails, now it seems they "come from" the user name of whoever has commented which makes it a lot harder to get notifications in my emails2

Text colours you can update via the Code view ( </> button), but it's not particularly user friendly/
If you wanted to try it, you just need to use
<span style="color:green">
I was this text to be Green
</span>
But if you switch back to normal view from Code view then you'll lose this so you need to post your comment while still in code view.
So what you need to do is get your post ready with links and everything sorted, then when you're ready, click the code view button </>, find the bit of text you want to change colour of and surround it in <span style="color:green"> This is the bit of text </span> and then post comment, might be worth doing a CTRL A and copying it in case there's any mistakes.
Hopefully they'll sort a easier way to do this but in the meantime, this is all we have.
Worth noting too, that if you edit the post, it will revert to "Normal" view and you will lose the colour styling you've already done.
It's probably not worth playing about it unless you feel you know what you're doing.3 -

Having read the whole thread now, I have two suggestions for compers.
1. If you want to copy and paste text from the web and strip out the formatting, you don't need to open Notepad or anything like that. On a PC, press CTRL+SHIFT+V to paste, and on a Mac, you press CMD+SHIFT+V and it will paste as plain text.
2. If you want to open a lot of links in one go, rather than right-clicking and opening in new tab on each one separately, I use a Chrome extension called 'Linkclump' which allows you to select numerous links by holding down a key and dragging the mouse - you could theoretically open hundreds, but it would slow your computer down too much.
I hope this helps.6 -
