Pmliu said:In the old green forum I was able to sort post out by newest thread first or newest post first, is this function going to be put back in later, the order is in a funny order and everytime I refresh page the order changes, makes it a lot harder for me to keep track of competitions entered?

Edit your post and just replace the bit : competitions@insidesoap.co.uk with just (removing all the old forum stuff) :
Email : competitions@insidesoap.co.uk
If you select the email address (or whatever you want to become the link), by clicking the mouse and dragging it over the words, then click the icon (above the text) that looks like a 2 link chain (next to the emiticon button) and in the box that appears type or paste :mailto:competitions@insidesoap.co.uk?subject=PUZZLES6
and that should be it. Give me a shout if you have any issues with it.
The chain icon just makes whatever text you select a link to whatever you put into the box, so adding mailto: at the start tells the browser it's an email link, you can leave off the ?subject= if you don't need a subject.
I have noticed it doesn't like subjects with more than one word, so if the subject is something like "Enter our Competition", then just leave it out and let users put it in manually. You can probably do it by replacing the spaces with %20 or but that's getting a bit too technical.2 -
Is there way a to change the notifications back to the 'daily digest' rather than individual posts? I've found where to turn them on/off altogether but not a way to just reduce the amount?

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but can we have the "skipped" check box back on the main forum? 9/10 times I can decide whether I want to enter based on the title of the entry, being able to flag it as skipped makes it so much quicker0

A couple of quick ones:
1) There are no skipped/entered buttons in each individual post on Postal, let alone on the main list. I assume they'll appear eventually as they seem to be in every other competition post.
2) When you thank/comp-liment someone, it is only visible when you hover over it to see your name. It's easier if this is obvious at a glance.
3) When clicking a thread, it opens at the bottom of page one or several pages in instead of at the top of page one, which seems odd.
Other than that, I agree that the skipped/entered buttons need to be visible everywhere whatever way the threads are arranged and that sorting comps by E: should be as simple as it was previously.
Other than that, I like the look of the new forum

With regard to the skipped and entered buttons, I used a sort of code to myself (and I got this tip from someone else so at least one other person uses it this way too!), in that green on its own meant I had started, but not finished a comp, and both together meant I was done with it completely, so in case this isn’t in the plan, I would love them to not only be on/off but that they are independent of each other, as they were before. I appreciate that this wasn’t their intended function but I found it very useful. I also know you can now bookmark posts but I don’t necessarily want notifications and emails on all posts I want to bookmark
Hoping these can be added to the list @sleepyjones please, thank you0 -

Not an issue with function, but is anyone else finding it hurting their eyes or having a problem with it?
The main page in particular is making my eyes hurt but everything seems a little blurry.
Not expecting anything to change BTW, just wondering if it's the same for anyone else.2 -
