... because it's very old software, there may have been nothing wrong with the layout or functionality but times have changed, as have security concerns / data protection laws etc  which will all be improved with the new software.

I have switched my monitor onto dark room mode,  much less hard on the old eyes

I find it odd that we are being encouraged to point out all the issues with this new site. Surely the people building it studied the functionality of the old site and can just replicate that. Especially if it's primarily the security aspects that were the problem and caused the decision to move providers. It's like their starting from scratch!

Can we not x from the main comps page anymore? Having to open every link individually is going to be a ball ache! Also, please tell me that they put back in the ability to open links in a new tab with this new forum? So far, I’m not liking it.

I understand that clicking skipped from the main page is something they are working on, so we have to be patient.  I open links in a new tab by clicking on the scroll wheel of my mouse.  HTH

I don't/didn't like it but have been on it this afternoon and am getting used to it. We don't like change as creatures of habit! Still there are a few things that need improving!
