Return to green layout help please

Urgh I hate this layout! It's awful!
I know I always think that when a site I am used to tweaks its layout, but this is just impossible to use!

You would indeed be right, they're working on it though so it will come at some point.

I was using the green layout. which i much prefered, this new style is just awful, anyone just think "can't be bothered" with new one, it's just not comper friendly at all. so disappointing.

I think a lot of these comments are a bit harsh, they're still working on some issues.  You need to remember MSE IS NOT a comping site, the comping bit is just a forum chucked onto the end of the main forum, so it makes sense that they would just want a working forum (Which it is!), the customisation for the comping section will take a back seat to everything else, rightly so (irrelevant that the comping section might be the busiest).

I agree it looks horrid. I always stuck with the "green" format on the old forum, even after they wanted to change
to the newer one & now they have forced it on us.
My eyes hurt already from the new layout & it doesn't function like the old one did.
The old one was powered by vbulletin forum software, this is run on Vanilla forum software, so the green format. won't come back unless they revert back to the previous software.
I'm off.. before my eyes get totally blurred.

I am very loyal to MSE but this new forum is terrible. I recommend Competition Database if anyone is having trouble until MSE is fixed.

but then you'll probably run into issues with entering the same competition twice if you're switching between 2 different sites with no way to cross reference which competitions you've entered on one site.

... and no offence, but you can't really be "very loyal to MSE" and then recommend people use a different site #justsayin
