But not to this extent. One or two songs maybe. But not just the songs the whole show was off much poorer quality.

To me this should be in some way reprimanded

In your opinion it was poorer quality, bet there were thousands of satisfied customers.

So you want someome to take the artist to task for changing the set list? Good luck with that.

ps as for your 'Mumsnet' comment, there is only one person moaning on this thread.

Why did you quote yourself? (Edit: @post #21)
  • I’m in the same boat. Went to a football match last week, they played really well and won! Had a great time.

Took my friend this week and they didn’t play anywhere near as well and lost!! I’d like my money back please

If 2 people go for a meal order same food ones is perfect the others cold and raw would you just suck it up?

Everything nowadays has some form of liability to their customers if service or quality is below par so why should a show or concert be above this?

    1) Ridiculous analogy

    2) Do they?

    You are deluded......

I thought the consensus was clear. Nothing you have said would entitle you to a refund.

Not through the organisers maybe but how would I go about it another way. Is their any ombudsman or the like about for events or would the only way really be to take them to court and make my case and let a judge decide? (Not that I am but that would be the last extreme)

I'm not sure in how many different ways we need to tell you the same answer before it will sink in.

A quick google shows that refunds are more likely to be given where there is a quantifiable issue such as dreadful sound quality. Your concerns is a far more subjective one - set lists can and do change, and performers do ramble on a bit (I sat through a comedy act once where the main act was off his head and nearly incoherent.)
You could complain to the organiser, the ticket seller, the person themselves via twitter or FB but I really wouldn't hold your breath on this going any further. If the majority of other punters were perfectly happy (and you can usually judge this from social media) it's you and your perceptions that are out of step. You don't get compensation for your perceptions.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I bought several tickets for several dates for a live show through ticketmaster/live nation.

The first night was great and was looking forward to bringing a friend to see the next one with closer more expensive tickets.

However large chunks of the show were cut out! To me most of the best bits! So basically I am far from happy with this. Paying near double amount for better tickets to see a show that was cut short in many places!

Ticketmaster have said their policy is to only refund for cancelled events.
This just don’t seem right or fair to me! How do I go about taking this further as these tickets were over £1000 and it’s not something I can easily afford and was put on the credit card!

    Thanks in advance

How do you know the show was cut rather than just a variation. I've yet to see a live show by an artist that is exactly the copy off the previous one.

These tickets were more expensive for the better view not better quality of the show. And them being £1000, sth you can't easily afford and had to stick on the credit card, is irrelevant. This doesn't give you more of a right to compensation.
