Best wishes for a successful outcome. Please come back and give us any news.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

  • Thank you Umkomaas
Having just read a thread about telephone hearings I am concerned I did not provide the court actual documentation about a medical condition I had that caused a delay to my application, I simply put I would be happy to provide on request.
Silly really, I just didn't think it would be so important to provide the actual medical docs.....kicking myself.

  • So I got the two set asides! Miracle! Thanks for everyone's help! A big relief!
I asked for costs to be reserved but that was refused, disappointing on that front but what can you do 😊.
They now have 14 days to furnish me with the details of their original claims against me and I have a further 14 days to file and serve a defence.
I was offered the option to pay the fines which was very tempting but I decided in for a penny in for a pound.
Will I still have the option to settle? I was concerned that if I agreed to pay I would be admitting I was guilty, something I am sure I am not. Just to bring things to an end was really tempting though.
Many thanks again to all. When I get details of their claims I will post my defence here in case it is of any use to anyone.
How long do you think it will take for the CCJs to be taken off my credit file?

Well done on getting the set-asides, a good start, now go and win the main cases.  No idea how long it takes to have the credit record cleared, that is a court process.  You might ask Auntie Google or search the forum to see if anyone has posted a definitive time-scale.

I'm sure I've read here, some time ago, that credit records are updated on a monthly basis, so it depends on the date the set asides are notified to them. It could be within one day, or 31 days, or any number in between - and much will depend on when their working month starts and ends.

I'm not sure whether any of that helps!
