You have RCA connectors I already told you what was needed earlier on in the thread one of these:-

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/GANA-Composite-Converter-Supporting-black-02/dp/B01N5KNFD1?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1
I bought one opf those and nmyu son fitted it as per the instructions that came with it and also the prompting on the TV but it doesnt work.

Think I will return it and give up and buy a sound bar.
  • What I dont understand about it is that when switching the sounjd system on you can hear the click quite load but there is no volume to listen to the tv.

I can't see in the thread that you've told us the precise model number of the Polaroid system?

No, we don't have a precise model number.
If we can confirm that the TV has SPDIF OUT, and the Polaroid has SPDIF in, we need an SPDIF cable between the two, that would be ideal. SPDIF = Optical.
  • Incredible my 9 year old granddaughter found the model; no for me.  It is; ASR1551E2L   Neither in nor my son could find it and she said what is this Model No

Sorry, I can't find any information online about the model - advice remains as per my previous post - hopefully an SPDIF cable is all you need.

The system does not have an optical option...........................Only RCA.
See THIS VIDEO..It may give some idea....
My suggestion is still to buy a soundbar or a more modern 5.1.
