Sorry about your hand, nopot, hope the worst of the pain is gone soon, as others have said, go easy on yourself at the moment

Patches - if your OH brings food then it doesn't count as you haven't paid for it I reckon.

Nopot - I really hope your hand is better soon.

A spend of £29.76 for me this week. I bulk bought a couple of things that were on offer that I'd planned to buy less of, but it only means buying less another week hopefully.

Went to supermarket saturday night. Spent my £105 in vouchers and bought loads of stuff for christmas. Aso bought a new iron(as mine had been dropped and leaked!!!) Anyway out of the Christmas/December budget I only spent £11.93. So I'm Still on track and still a happy bunny!!!!! Hope all is going well for everyone else.
Jacks, BF and any one else who's interested. Seeing your chocolate thing on your post made me think of the aero advert with that hunky young whipper snapper (or should that be whippa snapper???)lol and I thought what a refreshing change seeing a young scantily clad male advertising chocolate instead of a female.     must go update sig!!!

That literally stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it! :D

(It must be my age - huh Mike?! :D )

    Hello All....
Everyone seems to be doing so well this month :T :T ... and just to be different, I am not:o .
    So far I have spent £100.30... but I have 3 weeks left:eek:
Been a very weird and eventful first week for me... which may explain my overspends.
I broke my right hand on Wednesday:eek: . And it is sooooo painful.

I was supposed to be going xmas shopping with a friend on Friday, but couldnt as I had too get plastered first.... so I suggested we went for lunch, on me, instead. But it did make me feel better:D, so Im not going to beat my self up about it.
Another friend was visiting for the weekend also... so I went a little overboard with the provisions:o . And because of the broken hand, and I didnt feel like cooking... we had lunch out one of the days, and a takeaway the next night. So now I have a fridge and freezer full of food.

I have £49.70 left of my budget... and think that I will manage with this.

On the plus side ... I wont be spending any more on fuel this month... as I cant drive just now.

Oh honey! My hand's wincing in sympathy.

Do take it easy as much as you can won't you?

I know we all tend to soldier on regardless but rest and relaxation is so important for healing.

I prescribe at least one afternoon a week on the sofa watching films that make you laugh and /or cry with a box of chocs within easy reach until they take the plaster off :D

Jacks, BG23, tattycath. I mentioned no names in my post so I'm surprised at the response. Mind you "if the cap fits, wear it" and to quote "Methinks thou doth protest too much" ;).

    Runs away and hides!:p

Did a shop at Mt. T yesterday. Should come to around £74 with my £15 coupons :j, but have another one in for the Christmas goodies deliverable on the 22nd for £50 and rising

As for fancying younger heartthrobs, I fancy Aleshia from Come Dancing:smileyhea then We Could Dance All Night

really sorry to hear about your hand nopot :( hope the pain goes away soon, how long are you in plaster for? It must be very awkward to cook with a broken hand so try not to be too hard on yourself if you come over budget this month. Hope you are better soon x

I will be plastered:rolleyes: until the 28th Dec.... well thats when I have to go back to hospital. I dont know if they will re plaster it again then. Will just have to wait and see.

And the plus side is I can only carry so much now... and I cant take the car to shops ... so hopefully wont be over doing the spending:D

I did some xmas shopping this afternoon, and I was so restrained, I scared myself:eek: . All because I knew I couldnt carry it all.
And I dont think I am old enough for one of those little tartan shopping trolleys yet....... ~~this sentence is a note for you mikeD:rotfl: ~~

I think this will get me into the OS money saving ways;) .
Thanks to all for your kindness:o :o
