Once, fine, open it. After that .. more? you have more? wasn't one pack enough? It seemed endless earlier.
There was also some chopping of something in a paper bag, so I had to endure nearly 10 minutes of a hand in a paper bag, something removed, then peeled, then the hand in the paper bag again - all within that sound spectrum that it's "painful" for me.
And that's the thing, the hearing ... once alerted it's painful to hear... drives you nuts.
I'm looking on airbnb, cheapest is £1200/month (priced for the peak holiday times) ... and spareroom is £900+ for rent + bills (so nigh on £1200 again) as most are a room in a shared house.
I'll tap into RM and see what's there.
Do you have to be in an expensive area? Would a much more peaceful location like somewhere halfway up Snowdon be better? Are there no holiday rentals available? I mean they aren't going to be exactly booked up with people going on holiday this year are they?

Traffic in Lincoln is obviously bucking the trend, it was hellishly busy and with some idiots about. He didn't pass unfortunately due to one of the idiots...
Ah well, onto the next attempt, no idea when because who knows what will happen with driving tests. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.5 -

so had to then get waved over to somewhere else as I wasn't looking dodgy. It was Bristol to Dublin, so probably hardly counts. It was short/smooth so not scarey. Wouldn't choose to fly though ....

To be honest... there are an awful lot of Eastern Europeans living there now.... not known for their high standards of driving.4 -

RM is chucking up some stuff at £600 I've bookmarked.
It's too soon for holiday rentals to realise "nobody's coming". It's tricky for holiday rentals as even fewer are "tiny/small for one", but mostly, say, a whole mobile home/caravan sleeping 4-8... which is pricier.
I don't want to use my phone until post-garage-call as I can't view without a car in any case. I also don't want to use my phone here as every word could be heard and I retain a ninja silent presence.
Just endured round two of cook-fest. Breakfast over (9.20 to 10.20).... there's just been an early lunch (12.20 to 1.00).6 -

To be honest... there are an awful lot of Eastern Europeans living there now.... not known for their high standards of driving.Do they have driving tests at home? My husband tells me that Belgium was very late in introducing driving tests. It was a Belgium driver that wanted us to pull over into thin air so that they could get past on a road halfway up a hillside in France many years ago. Basically a question of the fact that the Belgium driver didn't seem to have any spatial awareness. They didn't seem to know how wide their car was or how wide the road was either. So they needed a space big enough to get a large tank through which would have been about twice the width of the road and well into the thin air off the edge of the cliff on our side.We always give Belgium drivers a very wide berth now just in case although they seem to have got better.5 -

Boston, Lincs is Polish, Lithuanians, Bulgarians and Romanians. Since the Brexit thing there was a new rush of Romanians into the area.
A few years ago Boston was described as the most Eastern European town in England.

B4lls. Garage. New door handle, about £250+VAT. Ordering parts today, should be here tomorrow.... hopefully.
I'll cancel the dentist, don't want to go faffing about on buses as it's an hour or more and four bus changes each way to go 7 miles.5 -

How much can they eat? They will be through their stock pile by tea time at this rate. It might take months to get another shipment from China.
