I have been to the hospital to see the psychiatrist. I am now a mental health patient at the hospital with the home care team. I have no idea what is going on in the real world and I know that I wouldn't cope so I haven't read the posts above. I have some more sedatives to control the anxiety and we will be increasing the anti-depressants gradually back up to higher levels. All consultations with the psychiatrist will now be done over the phone. Not sure about shopping though. We have some food for now. The hospital will deliver the medication to me at home so that is something not to worry about.

Categuts many apologies if anything I have said has added to your anxiety. I suffer from health anxiety too but luckily have been able to manage it without resorting to medication. I use a sound generation app (sleepa) to play wind and rain sounds all night which I find really helps with getting to and staying asleep.
I have clinical depression and anxiety that is now dangerous to me. I had it before 20 years ago so I had to go into the hospital to see the psychiatrist. I am using mindfulness to keep me calm. I also have medication to help me sleep as I find that difficult. I am now a mental health patient with the home care team and the psychiatrist will contact me by phone and not have us go down to the hospital.

Right... it could only happen to me... who'd have thought a car could fail an MoT for that!!! Spitting feathers at myself for not knowing.
My rear passenger door, behind me.... doesn't open from the outside. It opens from the inside, it stopped working last November, I had no idea it was critical... so the garage have my car. I had to leave it there, they gave me a taxi home on their account (lucky break); they will look tomorrow and phone to say if it's a cable or mechanism, I have to have it done anyway, then a retest... and they'll send a taxi to get me (on account).
The taxi was a lucky break.... I was going to walk a mile to the bus station and catch a bus.
In the 3 hours I was waiting, walked into town; roads were almost empty, town was almost shut down, ferry trip companies were packing up....
Saw a ship turning, couldn't see what I was snapping as you can't see screens in daylight.. it's a bit rubbish.

I suppose it is a safety thing, being able to open the door from the outside.
Super pic, by the way!(I just lurve spiders!)

While killing time, I had to shuffle somewhere and the first building I came to was an 4sda superstore. I've not been in a really BIG shop for months... I was just browsing.... wandered down the aisle marked "tinned soup, tinned vegetables..." wasn't really taking note as I was browsing rather than looking for things... and I got to the end and thought "oh, did I miss the peas", turned round and realised... one entire side (all the tins) was completely empty. After that I noticed a lot of empty shelves and aisles. It's very noticeable in big stores if you're looking ...
I picked up a 3-pack of John West Tuna/Mayo/Sweetcorn tins (sandwich filling)... and a pack of 4sda own brand Lemsip (I've some somewhere in storage, but that'd be no good if I wanted them) and a 6-pack of doritos.
A bit later I was in £land, emerged from there with a bag of chocolates and two pairs of £1 reading glasses... that's my stockpile, £1 reading glasses
My plan, post-MoT was to get £20 of fuel and shuffle into Mr T for some cup a soups, couple of tins of peas and tobacco... 4sda had sold out of tobacco... I'll admit to a small stockpile of those6 -
Not saying she will.... or him .... but if Liz & Phil pop their clogs there can't be a massive gathering, procession and state funeral with a gazillion bystanders along the route.... they'll have to stick them in the back garden for now.7

Understand a lot more. I particularly liked the bit about when she said that she couldn't do maths and the bit about people needing help if they couldn't talk by age 3. I just got in under that one as I was about 3 before I could talk and then I spoke straight away in full sentences. The scans of her brain were also very interesting.I still get the time on clock and watch faces backwards sometimes. I must get a digital watch. This valium is good. I almost feel normal. Got to stop taking it now though. Only for emergencies.Saw the second psychiatrist this evening. I know most people only go to one but we had the 2nd one booked for about 2 weeks it is just that I didn't make it to the appointment before I got a crisis. Anyway the 2nd one took the what used to be called Aspergers in account even though I don't have an official diagnosis although it is very obvious if you know what you are looking for and worked out a plan to go with the black and white thinking and explained everything very carefully. The first doctor to explain things usually they assume I know and can fill in the bits that they haven't told me about by guess work. The first one just dismissed the Aspergers. I know who I prefer.7

It's these sort of tangents that often "offend" people... leading directly to the naughty step forever.7
