"Nearly"/house wasn't anywhere near nearly enough
4pm sun was way way gone forever.... and inside was dark, even though the EA had both living room ceiling lights on. It was actually full/bright sunshine at the time too.
I thought it was a dud, but at least I viewed, to see for myself.
Overall condition inside was better than the other three I've seen on that estate, which were pretty minging, but being dark inside was a dealbreaker. I'd also managed to ascertain that there is a footpath, under a huge canopy of trees, directly behind the garden.
So, all in all, it failed on several spots.... but at least I'm looking and not assuming.
While out, I did a drive by of the "house that's never going to be right, with the curved pavement in front and garage 2 doors up", the orientation of that was even worse than I'd thought. That's an absolute dud. But, checked/drove past. All pro-active, positive stuff, eh
Did a small drive by of the next on the list, the nearly/bungalow by the school. Hard to say. No point rushing at it... I'll see how I feel about it by, say, Monday. It might fly off the shelves, and I've missed it .... or fate might say "go on, have a look".
I probably really need to do that on a warmer day, on foot, about school time... benefit of being granny-aged and small/female... loitering near a school you don't look like a p4ed0

But being granny-aged and small/female, you might get mistaken for someone looking for suitable visitors to her gingerbread house..............I probably really need to do that on a warmer day, on foot, about school time... benefit of being granny-aged and small/female... loitering near a school you don't look like a p4ed0

My sibling's nosey and likes to drive round roads just looking at houses... very slowly. Sort of "what's here/would I want to live here, what are these houses like?" style. As a couple of middle aged old birds we don't have to worry about neighbourhood watch twitching their curtains, we just look like lost old biddies

I now have Coronas a Bit More Than Lite.
Snotty cold, glands slightly up, bit of a cough. It's "just a snotty cold" though.4 -
Thing is, though, Pastures, you have been in close proximity with someone recently returned from China, and so it might be a good idea, for your own peace of mind, to have a chat with 111, because that’s the advice given out over the TV and news bulletins.PasturesNew said:I now have Coronas a Bit More Than Lite.

They won’t think you’re wasting their time.
Even if NP-TM isn’t ill, she could still have passed it on to you.
Would you do it for me, because otherwise I’ll be worrying about you! 🙁🙁🙁(I just lurve spiders!)

I wouldn't dream of diagnosing you, but the symptoms of corona are a dry cough and raised temperature without a cold. So snot is a good sign, so to speak.PasturesNew said:I now have Coronas a Bit More Than Lite.

That's what I thought. No temperature, snot. Definitely outside of the usual list of symptoms for the Coronas.
People get colds all the time, not usually me, so that's just poor timing. But it is just a cold.
No need for the world to go into hysterics.
Honestly... I'm absolutely fine... really.4 -
I've had the same for the last week. Sorry to have passed it on to you. But, we’d better keep quiet about it, or there may be goss.PasturesNew said:I now have Coronas a Bit More Than Lite.

Can you imagine that you turn up at hospital feeling really really grotty, with a nasty chest infection. Then they start questioning you about everywhere you’ve been in the last 3 weeks, in order to track down everyone you may have been in contact with. No wonder it’s spreading. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?5
