Or she might be trying to cook whatever it was she used to eat when she was out all day? 

She obviously doesn't have a clue what she is doing.  I can see a bit of food poisoning coming along with that lack of cooking skill.

She probably wants your room for someone more lucrative or even two more lucrative people if it is big enough.

She did just eat her dinner in the kitchen.... but I think she's just gone out.
Thank farq for that. She had all her room/s upstairs, then the secret one came... and then she had to stay in the house more these last X days .... and now, it appears, she's gravitated towards using the kitchen all the time... p155ing me off big time.  The kitchen's not pleasant, bright or comfy. It's large, cold, dark (blinds perpetually shut & thick nets too) and it's utterly filled to the gills with stuff she should be either cleaning, clearing or sorting out and moving.... instead of that she's cooking stinky cr4p.

And how long is that secret one going to be around? It's been over a week now.

How many bedrooms are there in the house? 

I know that you know that there is only one secret one because of the noise of their footsteps.  What confuses me is that she doesn't appear to be cooking for the secret one because there is extra slicing from him?  So is he another tenant she has got from somewhere?

2 beds and bathroom upstairs. That was "her space". I never go upstairs, it's all hers. 
Downstairs there was a kitchen to the left, a living room to the right. In the original house there was a downstairs loo off the kitchen, that's still there. 
Then: They (her & deceased husband) built a full width new room across the back, which is a room and a disabled en-suite.  This bit is mine, where the bed is/I am.  

The original kitchen door was retained from the kitchen into this room, glazed/film.  

He must be something to do with her/related in some way.  She is cooking for him and shopping.  He rarely leaves the house at all... he's just upstairs all the time, except about once a day.  He arrived in the middle of the night; I heard her car come home and her inbound noises that night were unusual, with bumping and banging about for 10 minutes - so must've been moving bits about and him unpacking. 

Since he arrived, she's started using the downstairs loo, which is adjacent to my room... often creeping down in the dark and using it.  Before, she was quite good at not using the kitchen in the evening, it's being used later and later now + she sometimes creeps to that loo... I used to be able to rely on the fact that once it was about 8ish or so I could "relax" as she'd not be in the kitchen turning the light on and clattering about at all.  

She never takes the secret one out with her.... their only interaction seems to be food based/in the kitchen and, as they're speaking in foreign tongues, I've no idea whatsoever what they're talking about.   There's no laughter.  It sounds fairly functional conversation. 

I have the living room, it's "mine"... but I hate it .... I went in there on day one and she surprised me and just walked in... and I thought "I'm not having people walking in on me", so I decamped to the bed/bedroom bit - she still managed to just open the door and walk in on me and couldn't get to grips with me saying "You CAN'T just do that!".  Sometimes she'd knock then open the door.... before I had time to get out of bed and go over the room... "I didn't think you were in" - and I tried to say "that's not your concern".  She has now stopped walking in, but there's the omnipresent "fear" of it. 

The living room is also STUFFED full of her clutter, including the table laid out/mostly cleared from the last Xmas meal she had there, with other people... so bits of debris of food... I've not touched it.  Her ornaments and cr4p fill the cupboard and the surfaces.... it makes me angry, so I don't use that room.

I snapped... after she'd gone.  So, just to expand: She was not here/gone out, so I let rip. I had a Tourettes breakdown.  I doubt the secret one can hear me... or would come investigating, but I had a full on vile shouting session in here.  

I was "calling her" names and saying stuff.  I hate you, you vile, disgusting, evil, witch. You're as thick as !!!!!! and you're an utter, utter liar.  I hate you, I despise you, I wish all ills upon you, you vile, deceitful piece of utter, utter cr4p.  

You're thick, thick as !!!!!!... I hate thick people, I hate you. I despise the fact you breath; I begrudge you the breath you've still got.  You vile, nasty, deceitful, !!!!!! from hell. I hate  you. I hate, hate, hate, hate you. DIE, DIE, DIE. You witch. I loathe you with everything I've got.  I hate everything you do. Everything.  I sit here and loathe your existence every time I hear the slightest sound that you exist.

If I have to do lockdown with that ...... I'll go mental. And I think they're about to call it.
Maybe we can sort out the people smuggling bit once and for all and just call immigration to check   Odds are it's legit... s0ds law.  But I could do it anyway, out of spite.  

She's brought all this upon herself by not treating me fairly.  This wasn't the cheapest place... so I didn't skimp.  SHE has done this to HERSELF.... all of it.  

And if I am in lockdown my entire focus will be on ways of disrupting her life so that she gets a tough time of it too ..... because .... revenge is not a dish that this time can be left to go cold. 

The essence of the advert etc was: She wanted a mature female, who she wanted to meet before she agreed.  These rooms would be my "flat" (a word she uses) and she travels a lot and is out a lot of the time; she doesn't cook so rarely uses the kitchen.  She wanted a mature female in her home so she felt "safe".... yet it's OK for her to go dragging blokes back here and I have to lump it!  1/ her bf had her keys when she went away. 2/ the secret one. 

Hell hath no fury like a cornered PN. 

I've been through a LOT, endlessly, these last few years.... and this is just one straw too many......

I am struggling to understand why the downstairs loo has suddenly become so attractive? 

I know that the answer will come in a blinding flash of obvious in about 3 weeks probably half way through a sentence when talking to my doctor.  It could be tomorrow. I am expecting to talk to two medical professionals at different times. I just hope they don't contact  at the same time or one of them will excommunicate me. 

Sod's law says I will get the answer tomorrow.
