No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... The door is now complete and has been signed off by the forewoman.
Think we'll give the frame a quick lick of paint as well.
We've been out today to a dog rescue centre, expressed interest in two, so we'll see how that goes.
There was a garden centre next door so popped in for a look.
Bought a HUGE jar of pickled onions (2.5kg for those that are interested, or 5lbs if not).
I think they also sold plants, but only had eyes for the onions 😆
Tieded up the patio and pressure washed it.
Showered and now enjoying a cuppa.
Hope you all had good weekends. If it's not adding up, compound it!5 -
LOL at only having eyes for the pickled onions. Well done on the DIY jobs. I considered pressure washing my flags - does that count?

Pickles are hard to get, cherish them!
The finished work must be good if the FW has signed it off. Downside is she'll be brewing a to do list as long as your arm 😉Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.3 -
Thanks all!
I'll see about a picture, don't want to overexcite anyone 😆
FW definitely has a list...😟If it's not adding up, compound it!4 -
