Maybe? It gives a bit of natural light in the bathroom and looking at the pictures doesn't allow anyone to see anything.Deleted_User said:If you were having a extension would you keep the bathroom window if it was going to become a window to the new dinning room?

When we were buying last year we looked at a few modern town houses with this layout. On paper we thought we wouldn't mind but when actually viewing we quickly discounted them. I'm often popping between the living room and the kitchen when cooking or even just making a cuppa (often continuing a conversation with a slightly raised-voice while I check on a pan or something!) especially when friends are round! It would be lonely to be stuck down in the kitchen when everyone else is up in the living room, and a pain to be carrying meals and drinks up and down the stairs every time. I can't imagine why they have become so popular, all the new-ish build town house estates near me are like this, hence why we decided to have a look. The kitchen is on the ground floor, but there is nowhere logical on that level to eat. One would either have to carry meals upstairs and eat in the sitting room or eat in the small study on the ground floor. The kitchen itself doesn't appear big enough to contain a table.

Probably shouldn’t expect to see a bidding war between landlords, desperate to bring these tenants into their portfolio.
Still, I’d love to see the inside of the fridge. I bet that’s a shocker.1 -
