Wow. Very James Herriot and Mrs Wotsit :) I really like that actually. Especially the queer door in the bedroom wall (pic 15).
So that seems to be the door which leads to Bedroom 3 direct from Bedroom 1.  So Bedroom 3 is really a dressing room or for a nursery. (or possibly to isolate a snoring partner).

Looking at the property sale history, something is quite off.

    Sold for £81k in 2017
    sold for £82500 in 2020
up for sale at £280k now.

The asking price seems consistent with what most vendors are listing their flats in the area but surely that history is wrong. Sold 4 times since 2009 to 2020 and the last one was £82500.

Cladding? Or maybe something opened in the area and now everyone wants silly money.

No, shared ownership. Presumably now being sold after (or simultaneously with) staircasing to 100%.
Yeah. I think this is more likely that all of the previous transactions were part owned. That 99 years lease starting from 2009 also points towards that.

A lot of this has now come back into fashion. The dining room wallpaper and the kitchen colours are pretty awesome. Carpet tiles would have to go though, and not so keen on the sheer drop off the patio...

Goodness, that kitchen took me straight back to my childhood. We had kitchen units that were practically identical. Wonderful! :)

Not so much the kitchen as the tongue and groove - was it actually cheaper at some point that phoning for a plasterer?

Oh, now it’s coming back to me.  It was either to cover exposed pipes from retro-installed central heating, or the curse of Artex.

A feast of wallpapers and carpets including on the side of the bath.  Was a well loved home judging by the immaculately kept kitchen.

    That's a wonderful house.... :)
