Closing an 837 page thread would be seismic indeed. I can't remember how many pages the original one got to (or this one before the forum move decimated it) - any old lags recall?Misslayed said:Can we stay on topic please, or we run the risk of the thread being closed. Not sure if they ran out of money to decorate, or just got "industrial chic" very very wrong. That MC Escher "metamorphosis" bathroom is a particular low point.Tiglet2 said:Spot the cow. Finding it difficult to comment positively on the price and decor to be honest.

I think it looks unstarted!SadieO said:
I've seen this on a couple of renovation tv programmes. Perhaps it's trendy. I think it just looks unfinished!EssexHebridean said:
How much more do you think they could have charged if they’d finished the decorating though? Plywood walls, anyone?!Tiglet2 said:Spot the cow. Finding it difficult to comment positively on the price and decor to be honest.

Not so keen on the 'behind bars' look. Having fitted metal bars to a house when abroad to help with security, these seem to make no sense. Not sure what is 'attractive' about adding the bars (trellis) to the front of the house. I suppose they will help any potential robbers climb onto the roof and access the house from the roof light. What I do not give, you must never take by force.

Is it the Stirk House Hotel, being split into flats?FreeBear said:Back on topic. Really helpful opening picture for a £3.25mil property - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/131898164#/?channel=RES_BUY0 -
Surely whoever did that recognizes the irony of placing 1960s objets d'tat about the place to give an exciting retro twist, having completely destroyed the authentic 1960s character of the building itself?Tiglet2 said:Spot the cow.
