Its at the same level as the garden doors/ floor, And the office is so dark, it must be a boxed in light well.

Edit: it is. No storage under that kitchen sink, and its very little light getting in.

Price of wood these days I'd probably keep   Looks in very good condition and could look pretty good with scandi type furniture.
