I wouldn't know where to start describing this place, luckily the owner has done it for me;'The house was conceived 10 years ago, almost to this very moment in time, and it is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated, by society today, as to what it is all about. Today, a lot of what is within this property is either unaffordable, unobtainable, or both.'

I can't comment on the house - I'm too exhausted, but I spotted the dog!kev_pecker said:I wouldn't know where to start describing this place, luckily the owner has done it for me;'The house was conceived 10 years ago, almost to this very moment in time, and it is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated, by society today, as to what it is all about. I agree! My own internal point was that the 'sooth side' hasn't always been appreciated by those of us cemented in the west end of the city. Recently I did a wee tour of Holmwood House, another tucked away gem of a building. The west end 'ish has great big enormous and stunning tenement flats, I sold my inherited one last year. Despite its beauty I never want to live in one.GaleSF63 said:

Dear me! Not sure it really needed 105 (mainly mediocre) pics and the description is dire!

A lot of the pictures are a bit weird too! Perhaps the photographer was trying to be arty (same person who wrote the description maybe?!) but I struggled to tell what some of them actually were showing. And, cute as the dog is, unless he/ she comes with the house I'm not sure why pictures of them are included! I mean, I love spotting a dog that has wandered into shot, but portrait-style pictures of the owner's dog out for a walk (eg pic 100) are an odd thing to include.Skiddaw1 said:kev_pecker said:I wouldn't know where to start describing this place, luckily the owner has done it for me;'The house was conceived 10 years ago, almost to this very moment in time, and it is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated, by society today, as to what it is all about. You what? The place looks rather like the net result of stripping a luxury yacht of her fixtures and fittings and gluing them to the interior walls of a multi-storey car park. Other than a high-concept art installation exploring the theme of an ocean-cruising oligarch banished to dry land by a vengeful sea sprite, I can't even begin to think of what it might be 'all about'.kev_pecker said:I wouldn't know where to start describing this place, luckily the owner has done it for me;'The house was conceived 10 years ago, almost to this very moment in time, and it is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated, by society today, as to what it is all about. Knowing that area quite well, I shall assume that Henbury church, Blaise Folly/castle and part of the Blaise estate is not included in the sale along with the dog.kev_pecker said:I wouldn't know where to start describing this place, luckily the owner has done it for me;'The house was conceived 10 years ago, almost to this very moment in time, and it is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated, by society today, as to what it is all about. I can well imagine the only person that finds that appealing is the person sellingMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023

This feels like a prime example of why most sellers shouldn't put together their own listings. Who's even got time to click through 124 terrible photos, and read the essay describing the place? Makes you wish Rightmove had a character limit & photo limit.kev_pecker said:I wouldn't know where to start describing this place, luckily the owner has done it for me;'The house was conceived 10 years ago, almost to this very moment in time, and it is probably only now ready to be fully appreciated, by society today, as to what it is all about.
