Despite the '1 bedroom' they're very careful not to suggest the ‘development’ might be residential. Is there a reluctance among the Welsh to convert redundant churches to homes? It's in a residential street after all.badger09 said:

Pretty much every converted church/chapel I have seen in Wales - and there are a lot of them - have been turned into residential accommodation, be that a single dwelling or flats.Woolsery said:

https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/st-matthews-church-trallwn-pontypridd-south-wales-march-2019.118457/The building looks to be in good structural condition, although many of the coloured glass windows have been smashed and interior fittings stripped.0 -
Beautiful building. That would make an impressive residence.t1redmonkey said:

Looks more like a shed than a house. Looking at the floor layout it's sub-micro, and has many classic new-build flaws. Shower next to the toilet, nowhere to put your towel. Choice of shelf space or window, sorry you can't have both. Another shelf above the sofa to crack your skull open on. Cupboards require you to move the furniture to access, very convenient.
There's a power socket by the bed, but no side table to put your stuff on. Remember not to tread on your phone when you get up bleary eyed in the morning! Nowhere to put your coat when you come in the front door either.
