'Red flag? We don't like red flags round here, sir, not since communism. The only good flags are the stars and bars, the rebel flag and the state flag of Tennessee. Got all three on my flagpole, which is also a ham-radio mast, a satellite dish support and one leg of cousin Elvis's deer shooting platform. The other leg broke back in that storm in '83 so he fixed it up with that supposed 'historic oak' he cut down. Sherriff is still out looking for that, but he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Anyway this ain't no trailer park, it's got class. Some of us have got air conditioning and I read a book one time, found it under the seat of a Mercury cousin Sheila bought off of that drunk with one eye 'cause he was going to jail and didn't need it no more...'Woolsery said:

Half a million quid for a shed in a trailer park located in the middle of Mozzie Central... Don't care what flag they are flying. For that sort of money, I'd want at least a mile between neighbours.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I would have that any day in preference to a caravan.user1977 said:
It does seem a pretty absurd price. Here's an example of something else nearby you could get for the same money (even if lochside views are an essential):ProDave said:
Why would anyone pay half a million £££ for a twin unit static caravan on a caravan site that probably comes with site charges and has a limited lifetime on the site.Gers said:A holiday lodge - complete with furniture.
Look up the actual cost of an off site new twin unit static caravan. You are paying a LOT to RENT a pitch on a caravan site.
Changing a few words to avoid using caravan and site does not make it worth more.

Thought for a sec that was the entire mansion being sold for that price! Even though it's just the penthouse, still a lot better than the lodge for sureuser1977 said:

Too right. That's nuts. You could buy most of Knoydart for that price.

And the main A82 not many yards away slightly uphill (sound drops). It's the one nearest to the road.in_my_wellies said:
