I find the decor in the first one far too overpowering and camp.

The first - "Award Winner in a London ceremony in recent times and indicates the quality of the presentation throughout"!
Both (particularly the one on the 2nd floor) have rooms with one or more steps within rooms.  Perhaps this was considered a good design feature in the 1960s.  I wonder whether the handrail was considered necessary back then.

My vote for understatement of the year to date.

At least that's what the Estate Agent told me. He also told me it would make a "good project" and is "deceptively spacious".

Do wish the EA would use a few more full stops to break up a paragraph.... And proof read it....
